I'm working on a sidescrolling Metroidvania-style game called Pi Squared. I was having trouble with it, so I started converting it from JS to C#. Hopefully that will fix the issues I was having. If not…I guess I'll have to live with them. Development is very slow since I'm 99% on my own, but I decided I should post something, if only just to get myself motivated.
So here it is. The intro to the game + a song everyone knows. Pretend you're hearing something different because the text scrolling by assumes it's not actually the Star Wars theme that's playing.
Hopefully this gives you a vague idea of the story of the game. The title is only "Pi Squared", "Pi^2", or "Pi²" and the titles shown in the video aren't the real titles. They're just there for the sake of a joke. Also the text is not final either.
The basic idea of the game is this: You are a circle in a world of squares. You explore the world and find upgrades, fight bosses, and solve simple puzzles wich all unlock more areas to explore with more upgrades, bosses, and puzzles. I'll post more once I've finished converting everything to C#. I'm kinda proud of the ring menu I made 😛

Repaired. Shoot, sorry. This is the second time this has happened with the video post type. I need to fix that, and add the ability to edit posts

That is without a doubt, one of the greatest jokes I've ever seen on this site. Now it just needs a full 3d render in unity… just like the actual text during the movies… but how have you not gotten copyrighted yet?

Thanks 😀
I uploaded it like a minute before posting. That's probably why. Give it time…also it's unlisted. It would be really cool if this was google drive compatible *wink wink nudge nudge, Mark*
