RPG Maker XP
Moonpearl’s Animated Battlers
Introduction
One day I got tired of seeing stiff dolls clumsily bashing at each others, and I decided it was time to put some life in battles.
This script makes actors jump before attacking, move away when dodging, hurl foes in the air, scream in pains when struck, taunt their enemy, and much more.
Features
- Lively animations
- Horizontal scrolling with camera and perspective effect
- Voice acting support
- Thoroughly customizable – create battle animations setting up various parameters (pose, jump/rush, range, knockback strength…) and freely bind them to weapons/skills/items
- Theoretically compatible with any battle systems that comply with RPG Maker XP’s base engine specifications

Compatibility
Since this script changes only the battles’ appearances, it should be compatible with any custom battle systems that are cleanly encoded.

this looks really nicely made 🙂

Please configure this battle system so that we can use normal sprites instead of animated battlers. I can't find good battlers to fit my characters but I really like to use it 🙁 please! Tanketai's script is too buggy but yours seems neat.
