Project Bio Celestial Dance is a life and dating simulation inspired by Harvest moon, the hit video game series. The game begins with the hero as an eight year old child, and the player designs and moderates her life as they choose as she grows up while following a unique story line. Team Bio: As the primary creator of Celestial Dance, I carry the main part of the projects weight. That's not all though, we have a full fledged production team behind the scenes as well. Voice actors: We have our voice actors that contribute their voices to the project Amelia: Is my cousin who error checks, approves or denies various checkpoints and helps with some of the production Crystal: My best friend and closest companion. She helps with nearly everything as well Kaza: Our only current concept writer and our go-to guy for help. Daniel Carpenter: our composer that is currently designing the near entirety of our soundtrack Dawning Ember productions: Managed by Amelia, Owned primarily by Roxie and Amelia. Rooftops Revolution Studios: Owned and Managed by Roxie. In charge of video game development, story and features. In total, there are about thirteen people that are part of our production team (not including voice actors). I do the primary work on the project. Searching for: Eventers: Someone who can event some of the many love scenes. You will be given the milder ones to event, but you must be able to interpret the dialogue and stage directions and make cut-scenes based on this. Mini-game eventers: Someone who can design small mini-games for throughout the game. They do not have to be complex. [Pending] Outfit Designer [artist]: Someone to draw up some outfit concepts for the characters. Wedding Dress design #1 Wedding Dress Design #2 Wedding Dress Design #3 An outfit series of your choosing (3-4 pieces) (Design your own outfit line) A series of three dresses. 1-3 possible NPC outfits (not confirmed) A Prom Dress an outfit suitable for a pre-teen An outfit suitable for an adult 2 outfits for teenage boys Scene Artist: Art in Celestial dance is highly valued. In the spin off planned for production, it shows that it takes place near an Artist's colony. All of that aside, artists are needed for Celestial Dance to enhance certain scenes. They must be able to draw in ANIME STYLE to match the character art. The art needed will be presented in the game as a part of the cut scenes. They appear to enhance what is going on. More than one scene artist is required since drawing in itself is difficult. There are many drawings, but I shall not be listing them, since I will be contributing as well. You will receive pictures of the characters to draw as reference. Things like this include: -Two kids. One sits on a rock crying, the other stands behind her smiling. He tries to comfort the crying girl. -A picture of two teens kissing. -*THIS IS A MAYBE, and this can be you only job* 24 characters drawn separately from the character artwork in different positions. They will be used in the opening theme. The characters will scroll with a background behind them and the logo above. This is a big job and will be given to the person who believe they can handle it/want to do it. Concept Writers: Writing of event concepts and how love scenes would play out. Character Dialogue Writers: People who will select a character and write out their mass of dialogue for each relationship level. School Lesson Writers: THESE ARE URGENTLY NEEDED- People to help write simple school lessons based on the lesson outline given. They are only a couple dialogue boxes in length, but there are a lot of them. We need some people to help take this burden off of our shoulders. Item Planning: There are hundreds of items missing from the game... Food, toys, gifts... They are all important to game play. Whether it is to make, sell or give, the items are very important. I am looking for a group of people to develop a list of items, descriptions and appearances. The job can be done by everyone, with the exception of the tributes. You must explain why you should be able to do that list. Example of a list: -New york Style Cheesecake "This sweet dessert is made with sugar and cream cheese. Well that was cheesy!" [Reference image] -Strawberry Cheesecake... ... ... -........ -....... -....... List of Lists needed: This is a list of the lists I'm looking for. If you choose to do a starred list, you must prove that you know of that specific thing is being tributed. Some are more for friends and fans rather than for myself. Hello there everyone! I've been using Moghunter's animated title script for quite some time. Making a long story short, I was wondering if it was possible to add an another "Logo" to the opening. For those who are not familiar with the script, on start up the game fades in from black a logo with music of your choice, and that cross-fades into a title screen. I am looking to add a second logo either before or after the first due to having duel production studios. Is it possible? Secrets of hate and betrayal linger behind Araysia's otherwise perfect persona. Death and destruction lay itself on the doorsteps of each of the civilians that inhabit the town. Follow the trail of the murderous scheme put together by one of your very own from start to it's climactic conclusion. The main section of the game takes place in the town of Araysia: A modern, yet fairly sleepy town with quite an array of residents. People more in and out in each chapter, therefore leading to a fluctuating demographic. The town has many stores and locations such as Candy stores, clothing stores, an elementary school, a Chinese noodle shop; and the list carries on. Unlike the neighbouring town, Araysia is a fairly middle class town with a few families struggling, and a couple thriving. The other locations where a portion of the game plays out is in the rich city of Elica. The location is only accessible by bus in the later chapters of the game. Elica has a few more locations such as a video game store and a high school. The teenage chapter centers around this town since the private high school is where the children are educated. A few highlighted features of the game Play as the hero in five different stages of her life: Child, Pre-teen, Teen, Young Adult and Adult Shape the hero's life to your liking and play how you choose. Develop the hero's personality, Popularity and relationships. Solve the town's mystery and restore peace and safety to the streets. Participate in a variety of activities that build the older you get such as Mining, fishing, bug catching and cooking. Attend classes, and take part in school daily with different lessons nearly every day. Make friends with the villagers and unlock interesting cutscenes Follow the pieces of individual family stories that eventually connect together to form a town legacy Go on Vacations A realistic crush system allows romantic relationships to blossom from chapter two and onwards Select from eleven boys to have a relationship with and eventually marry. Change your clothes to influence how people around you think of you Attend town events such as Lover's day, Cake day or the festival of lights Custom interactions such as kissing, hugging and other speech related interactions such as story telling, small talk and conversations Give gifts to raise friendship Refine ores and make your own jewelry for profit. A: Technically, 2008. It began as a tester for codes, and eventually evolved into a game by the end of 2008 and dawn of 2009. Q: How far are you in game production? A: The main structure of the game has been completed. The events, activities and school system remain. Q: You say the game is like Harvest moon... but why do you say it's for teens? A: The game does start out light-hearted. Once you reach the teen years, there are a couple events that are not 'suitable' for children. They contain mild tobacco references at this point. There are also themes that some people may find a little difficult to cope with. Therefore I urge a teen audience only. Q: Everyone on the website looks like- [insert another term for poop here] A: The website's facesets were generated with facemaker. All the up to date artwork is drawn by hand. Q: Do you actually go to school? Or does it blank out? A:You actually go to school and attend lessons that change daily. You have homework and tests as well. I promise I did my best to make them interesting. :) Q: Does the game ever end? A: Yes. The game will end in the adult chapter (Chapter 5). You will play through 2 years, and the final event will be a clip of what happens to all the characters. You cannot play passed this point. Q: Do you or any of the main boys/girls ever die? A: None of the characters of your age group die, and neither do you. Everyone is alive well passed the end of the game. Q: Why isn't there any Male X Male or Female X Female relationships?! A: Well... the main reason is I'm already struggling with Male X Female relationships. I feel that I may offend some people if I do attempt to make the game with same gender relationships, I may do something that others may not like for whatever reason. Bottom line, there won't be any same gender relationships in the game. Q: Are there any easter eggs or cheats? A: Yep :) quite a number. Q: Why are you such a bad artist? A: Because as Lady gaga would say, I was born this way :) Q: Can the boys get married to someone else? A: Yes. A few of the characters (Including characters outside of the main boys and girls) Have love interests they may date, marry and start a family with. Q: Can the boys get jealous of eachother? A: Yes. This was a feature implemented in 2008 when the game first started and eventually grew to be both the males and the females can be jealous of you or each other. These are the main 24 characters of the game. They are all of the hero's age or of a similar range. Most of them find a romantic interest in another NPC. THE BOYS These are the main boys who are available to marry/date in later years. Most faces are missing. Those shown appear as the youngest age they appear in. Most boys begin in your town, but some move in as time goes on. Maximilian (Max) Destiny Love Interest: None Description: Max is the son of the Destiny family, and Roxie's older brother. He comes from a wealthy household but, like his mother and sister, remains untainted by his wealth. Max can smile through any situation in order to cheer people up. His happy-go-lucky composure is his best known quality. Max is the fastest to mature of all of the characters. He remains the main NPC next to Roxie. Andy Valitrov Love Interest: Roxie Description:Andy is a sweet, mature young man of few words. His twin sister is Anastasia, and his mother and father constantly fight over small things, many times it being who will cook dinner. Their family lives off of the small amount of money loaned to them by the mayor and the help from the Destiny family. He acts as the head of the family and is the only one that seems to be sane in the house. He usually ends up doing the cooking and cleaning around the house. Tyrone Kirimura Love Interest: Cindy Description:Tyrone is a passionate artist with flirtations tendencies. He lives with his single mom, Lia who was widowed after Tyrone was a young boy. He is an only child and enjoys pranking other kids. Leo Draco Love Interest: Tai Description:Leo is a shy boy with a lot of fake confidence built up inside of him. He is sweet for the most part, and very calm as he matures. He is 'enemies' with Tyrone, however it is quite obvious that both have a friendship beneath all of the hate. Leo lives with his father, Julius, and has a mother who is frequently mentioned. Leo wants to be a vet despite his father's wishes for him to continue to be a pro fighter. Julius and Jade Draco are Leo's parents, but they were forced to live apart by Jade's father. Tristan Mallory Love Interest: Tytannia Description: Tristan is known to be quiet and shy around others but otherwise a happy little boy if alone. He is frequently bullied by Anastasia and has an obvious crush on Tytannia. He lives with his mother and Tytannia who both push him around, hoping he'll grow a backbone. Jet York Love Interest: None Description: Jet seemingly has no emotion what so ever when it comes to actually needing it. It seems that when you make him happy, he tends to show too much happiness. He moves in when he is a teenager with Kyler, Jay and Damion. Kyler Love Interest: Piroline Description:Kyler is mature and sweet, but still can be harsh and rude. He had a rough childhood and remains very close with Jet, Damion and Jay. He frequently feels superior to people the same age as him, calling them kids. No matter how he acts, it is a well known fact that Kyler has a good heart. He moves into Damion's house when he is a teenager. Jay Love Interest: Kandi Description:A calm gentleman who is very mature for his age. He is charming and kind, but if someone angers him, he will lecture them for hours! Damion King Love Interest: Anastasia Description:Damion aspires to act in movies and on stage. He is close with Anastasia and frequently bullies those under him. He is arguably the most liked boy in all of the high school. Gage Knight Love Interest: None Description:Gage is the head-strong son of the Knight family. He is kind and sweet as well as hot headed and loud. His words frequently are spur of the moment causing them to sound childish, juvenile, innocent yet adorable.He is Andy and Max's best friend and lives with his mother and three sisters. Aris Love Interest: None Description: Aris is the nephew of Suzie Erin Layton, the grade 3 teacher. He moves in at age thirteen into her house. Aris is very sweet and charming, constantly rivaling Tyrone in the pursuit of ladies. THE GIRLS The girls of your age are simply there to be your friend and to be your rival in pursuing the boys. Cindy Brook Woods Love Interest: Tyrone Description:Quiet little Cindy loves to read and keeps her title as the shy little mayor's daughter. She is frequently bullied by other girls, but will keep a secret at all costs. Her closest friend is Tyrone who is very popular among everyone else while everyone ignores Cindy. Anastasia Valitrov Love Interest: Damion Description:Beautiful and princess-like Anastasia, Andy's spoiled twin. She forces her mother and father to buy things they can't afford leading them into greater debt. She is uncaring and apathetic for the most part. Abstract- Billions hear it daily. Millions witness it daily. Thousands cause it. We’ve all heard of it, but do any of us truly understand it? Inspired by harvest moon, this social simulation dedicates itself to bully victims around the world. Genre- Social Simulation (Romance, Mystery, fantasy) Rating- Rated T Platform- RPG Maker XP The story begins with our young hero, Alice, and her mother moving in to a brand new town. 8 year old Alice begins school in a few days, and her emotions are mixed about it. The ideas of a new life cloud her mind, but little does she know that her move was the dawning of her life. Control the hero through her life as she slowly grows from a young child to adulthood while making friends, developing a personality, going to school and perhaps even finding love? The story begins in a currently unnamed town. The region's name is the pure lands, claimed by the natives. The town was founded by the queen in the year 1933. The game takes place in a modern era, (Preferably the 21st century) and has very modern tools such as laptops and game systems. Note that all of the face sets are going to be hand drawn. They are being replaced as time goes on. The face sets you currently see are the youngest that you see that specific character in the game. The Hero Age: 8-26 Gender: Female Description: A little blonde girl who begins off with little to no personality and very little know about her. This is the player's character, and as they play the game, the options they choose influence her personality and how her life is played out. The Main Boys These are the main boys who are available to marry/date in later years. Tyrone Kirimura Age: 8-26 Gender: Male Description: Artistic and sarcastic are two words that describe Tyrone exactly. His sweet persona evolves into a mild flirtations attitude as he ages. He lives with his working mother who never seems to have time for him. Tyrone draws and paints to take up his free time. Leo Draco Age: 8-26 Gender: Male Description: Tyrone's worst enemy yet best friend, Leo stands as one of the greatest recorded child fighters in the history of the town. However, he is filled with false confidence and ridiculous remarks. Despite his energy, he fears to tell his father that he wishes to work with animals as a vet. Tristan Mallory Age: 8-26 Gender: Male Description: Tristan is known to be quiet and shy around others but otherwise a happy little boy if alone. He is frequently bullied by Anastasia and has an obvious crush on Tytannia. He lives with his mother and Tytannia who both push him around, hoping he'll grow a backbone. Jet Age: 17-27 Gender: Male Description: Apathy and boredom seem to swirl Jet's mind on a regular basis, as his emotionless voice rarely speaks out. However, when his excitement grows, his emotion overwhelms him leaving the room shaking with excitement. Kyler York Age: 17-27 Gender: Male Description: Despite his rough exterior, Kyler can be somewhat sweet at times. He pretends to be all tough, possibly hurting people in the process through his verbal slurs and rudeness. It is possibly due to potential tragedies that he tears himself up. Maximilian Destiny Age: 8-26 Gender: Male Description: This sweetheart is arguably the sweetest of them all. No matter what happens, he always can bounce back. Putting people in front of himself is what he does best, but Max needs his own help at times because little does he know that tragedy is right around the corner for him. He loves his sister deeply and they become best of friends when she grows up. Andy Valitroph Age: 8-26 Gender: Male Description: Andy is known to be opposite to his twin sister, Anastasia being fairly quiet and gentle. However, his gentle approach vanishes whenever Anastasia teases or hurts Roxie, Max's little sister. He is Max's best friend and has friendly arguments with Gage most of the time. He is a great baker and cares for his family who are constantly arguing and are deeply in debt. Damion King Age: 17-27 Gender: Male Description: Damion aspires to act in movies and on stage. He is close with Anastasia and frequently bullies those under him. He is arguably the most liked boy in all of the high school. View a multitude of events for most of the towns people. Go to school and attend class. Take tests and do presentations. Friends can ruin your life or help you out depending on who it is. Go to neighborhood events to have a good time. Custom speech interactions allows you to gain more information about each character or gain more friendship points. Each character goes through hardships that are solved, and end happily. There are many mini-stories all with happy endings, including the main story ending happily. Haha you were ^_^ They do for sure! The GIF player does play the GIFs and I've seen it work. It's just that it won't play my large image. I'm not that desperate, because it's for the faceset... so it won't work too well.

Don't say that! It was actually fairly helpful! Though I have the GIF player, the image freezes up the game because of the size of the file. You can't zoom the GIF either. I think I'm going to stick with regular images. Thank you for this! This is very helpful, and though the GIF problem may not be solved, this REALLY helped :) Thanks again!

Thanks for the help. However, I was hoping to add it above the dialog box. Even so, I have tried it, and it's not going too well. I'll try various things to see if it works, though this is not what I was hoping to do. Thanks anyway.

That isn't true. I do have a gif player, it just won't play the large images.

Hello! So... I've been working on my game for quite a while (I started a couple years ago, but it was just a test and I eventually got back to it this year.) And originally, I used the face sets from Face maker. Obviously, that didn't go too well. Recently, I got a book which taught me how to draw clothing and I began drawing again to realize that I've gotten better and I'm not doing too badly. I decided to change the face sets to hand drawn. I had drawn one to test and I animated it as a GIF. I have the advanced message script but I know that doesn't play GIFs. Don't get me wrong, I DO Have a GIF player. However, when I attempt to use the script to play the GIFs, I got an error message. I fixed it by changing the name of the GIF to one that already existed, but the game crashed whenever the GIF was supposed to play. Either way, if there is no possible way for the GIF to work there is one more thing I can ask though I doubt I can get a direct answer. If I happen to put in the face sets just As-is, what are the best dimensions (Roughly) for the image, and what do I input for the placement of the picture? I'm still fairly new to the picture fac esets... but hopefully someone can help me :) Thanks in advance! And sorry for the vague question ^_^; ~Roxie
