Do you think Privacy is wrong? People who download music online normally do not pay for it. The Music business has lost a lot of money because of piracy. However, some argue that copying music should be legal because they don't believe it is stealing. Is copying a purchased product and giving copies to people stealing? Personally I buy all of my music and videos. 99 cents to a $1.99 is not much for one song. I don't mind paying for it. I buy all of my music on Itunes and at stores.

Resources is a major factor. A game community without spriters can be very weak. It's cool to make RTP games, but 100 of them can get boring. An unlimited license is a huge key. I don't want to experience hardware failure and have to repurchase a license. Some programs can be expensive.

I suggest VX to be the maker. It is a more simple version of the RPG Maker. It has more scripting options. I think the plot should be about us. It does not need to be a complete reflection of this forum. The story can be in a made up world with us as characters. It does need to be about a forum world, just a normal world. For example Marked maybe an owner of a store or the mentor for the heroes. The heroes can come from different backgrounds such as students, average Joe, a cook, etc. Personally I want to be an independent villain. I think the best battle system should be a side view battle system. This can be easily done with VX scripts.

Ummm......That sounds like a mod. I know what you guys do. I'm talking about the members who are labeled as staff.

So what is staff's job?

Is anyone here a member of Planet Indie? I've tried contacting their staff and the email does not work. I joined the site an hour ago. I never received the activation email. I have used the resend activation email tool, but I still have not received an email. It's not in my spam folder. Since I can't post I'm unable to contact the staff directly.

I updated the thread with lists for the characters and bosses.

Staff members did little to nothing for VX. I uploaded 90% of the VX resources, and I'm not a staff member. The vast majority of the scripts are for XP. Nisage posted the majority of the few VX scripts. Not a single staff member made a game for VX. The staff members pretty much worked on XP. However, you also didn't recruit new staff members to focus on VX. Didn't you make a VX homepage that redirected to this forum? He should keep the resources, scripts, starter kits, and tutorials. Just about everything else should be new.

This site's number one problem is XP. It never changed to a site that featured both XP and VX. Staff didn't help with this either they only focused on XP. That's pretty sad.

Marked is working on the new site. Do you think he should restart the forums? Should it have a new beginning? I think it may be the best idea to restart the forums. The site and forum will have a new identity. Marked is making it into a development forum instead of a forum focused on XP. We have many members who are signed up but are not active. Some forums appear to be dead.

I think all of his tiles are only for VX.

WOW!!! Your game looks awesome. I love the original story. Stories about corrupted governments are my favorites. Your game looks very professional.

I would use them if they are made in the VX RTP style.

What's EGM?

Music can make or break a game. Music is one of the key components for making a good game. What do you think about the original RPG Maker themes? Personally I think they are a hit and miss.
