HI, i am dark santum i am going to teach you a photoshop style tutorial today. I am not using photoshop anymore since my brother's computer which have photoshop crashed and got corrupted so i won't be using photoshop for quite a long while. Sorry for the bad english. Step 1 Create a new file, change the size to any size you want. Ignore mine. Step 2 Click on the text button which is the T button on the toolbar and change it to any color you like. Step 3 Right click on the layer with the text and click blending option and it should look like the image shown in the picture below. Step 4 Click on Drop Shadow and apply the following: Opacity:100% Distance:1 Spread:3 Size:7 Step 5 Click on gradient overlay and apply the following: Blend Mode:Screen Opacity:100% Gradient:Any color you want not my problem. Leave the rest untouch Step 6 Now click on pattern overlay and apply the following: Blend Mode:Linear Light Opacity:100% Pattern:your choice Scale:239 Last Step: Finally click on stroke and change it to 1 with the color: Red:153 Green:153 Blue:153 And Done!

Your mapping isn't that bad but you just need to improve on a few components.
