  1. x.x It's screwing up again. Now I can't get the game to play normally, it only wants to run in Playtest mode! >.< This is getting frustrating, I swear.
  2. I mean connecting maps like in the Pokémon games, for a seamless effect. Plus, this program is needed to make all the trainers and such...
  3. It is. There's a program that comes with the Pokémon Essentials Kit, that is virtually another RGSS player, but it's the 'Editor' for the game. It's the only official way to connect maps and make new trainers in the game. But everytime I try to add it to the list, it just disappears! I apply it, it disappears as well! There doesn't seem to be a way to keep it... x.x But it's an essential detail that is needed to be fixed!
  4. *groan* New problem you guys... It seems everyone's efforts are in vain now, because there's a program that just won't friggin' stay on the DEP list! I need this special editor to place the maps together and make everything work right. But it won't stay on the DEP list! Again, I need help ASAP...

  6. As I have stated before - NOTHING happens. I open RMXP, but before anything else appears, the program quits responding. I run it in compatibility mode, it quits responding. I run it as an administrator, it quits responding. I turn off my firewall, and run it, and it quits responding. The gist of it? It won't respond, no matter WHAT I do.
  7. Hello again, you guys. It's been a whole month by now, but RMXP still doesn't work. Even after 20 uninstallations/reinstallations, the uninstallation of the free trial of RMVX, and such, the dang thing just won't work whatsoever. I fear I may never be able to use it again... If that's the case, I'm royally screwed in my hopes of making my own Pokémon game. Because I can't go back to ROM hacking... It's just too difficult.
  8. Surprisingly, RMVX works, though my free trial for it has ended. And the RPG Toolkit works, as does Game Maker and Sandbox, but RMXP itself just doesn't want to work. And Compatibility Troubleshoot mode? That's not on the list...
  9. It was running just fine before I moved. I'm running it on Vista, with 1 GB of RAM. It doesn't open, and yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Three times now. Still no dice... I even deleted all of my older games I was making, and it STILL won't work! I just don't get what is wrong! >.<
  10. Okay, so after I moved, RMXP just stopped functioning altogether. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but it still didn't work. No matter what I do, I can't get it to work... Everytime I start it up, instead of RMXP itself, I just get an error box that says "RMXP has stopped responding". It doesn't tell me WHY it won't work... I just can't figure this out. Can I get a hand here?

  12. Whew, it's been awhile, but I've finally got a few new updates to this. Namely, the Team Seasons members, a few gym leader edits and replacements, and a new town. I'm still down by a TON of sprites though. I need unique ones, not from the games, after all. Well, SOME from the games, like Lucas, Brendon, Dawn... It'd also be nice to have some new tilesets, really.
  13. Hm. I never really thought about that... heh. Thanks, I'll do that. I'll just need to work out the scripting... Anyways, moving on in my requests. The second thing I need is "Motives". Or, differently-speaking, "Needs", like Thirst, Hunger... In general, I need these motives: Hunger, Thirst, Boredness, Social, Bladder, Hotness, and Tiredness. They should all start at 100, and go down over a period of minutes. Like, every one minute IRL, they go down by 5% in-game. Certain motives should make the player be unable to do certain things when they hit 0, or send them to a certain map. Like, if Hunger, Thirst, or Bladder hit 0%, the player is sent back to map "Room 215". Tiredness should make the player be unable to dash, but otherwise, the player can dash as much as they like. Social should make the player be unwilling to continue the storyline, and should force players to chat with other NPCs. Boredness should make the player be unwilling to continue the story as well. And hotness should only affect you when you're equipped with a certain outfit.If hotness hits 0%, the player starts to lose Thirst, 20% every minute. It'd also be nice to have a menu screen that specifically shows your 'Motives', and have some sort of in-game alert if the player is close to hitting 0% on any of them. If anyone could manage to make this, I'd be EXTREMELY happy. Oh, and it's not gonna be totally dependant on scripts. I just need certain things to make the game look good, and be challenging, since there's no combat.
  14. Hey guys... So I've decided to work on a different game, taking a well-needed break from my Pokémon game. And apon reflection, while working on the game's intro... I realized I'd need a LOAD of scripts for this. But I'm not asking for them all at once, because I'm pacing myself out on this game... To begin with, I'd like to ask for a script that lets you edit your character's appearance, sort of like The Sims 2. There's different categories, like skin tone, eye color, hair style, gender, and clothing... Sorta like that. Though clothing options should only be limited to shirts, pants, and shoes... If someone could make this for me, I'd be ever so happy. Thanks in advance...

  16. Problem solved. Oddly enough, it started working again... I'm beginning to think that viruses are ravaging my computer, because now MS Paint is starting to screw up as well... Oh, and where can I get one of those nifty bar meters like everyone else has that tells of the game's progress?
  17. I don't have any programs of that sort but Paint, and I doubt that'd work.
  18. Well, I meant the Transparent Color in the tilesets. Everytime I try to change the transparent color in this one set, it does the error... But the others work just fine.
  19. Okay, I'll cut right to the chase, as I'd like to get back to work ASAP. I'm trying to change the transparency of my OverWorld tileset, which is required to make all the towns and routes for my game. But every time I open it up in the Materials, and Import the image so I can change the transparencies, I get this error: Critical Error C0000005 at address 004B52A8, and then RMXP immediately shuts down. Can someone help me combat this freakin' annoying problem?

  25. No, no, what I'm saying is... NEW sprites. Sprites made especially for this game. I want things to be mostly unique. ...Though the tilesets I'm using won't be totally unique. Just autumn-colored. Edit: I added a mapshot of the first town.
