I've finally finished planning the Isles of Olim and am now facing 40 maps (plus interiors) ahead. This is the first of many. The top left corner is currently fairly blank as I still need to edit the tileset before I can put Marius' Beachhouse on the hill but would love some opinions so far as it's my first map ever. Honest thoughts anyone? Don't go easy on me... I'm a big girl, I can handle criticism.

It's a great idea, I'm also a little sceptical though. Especially when dealing on an international basis. Are you looking at controlling the fund yourself or setting up a board of trustees to oversee the fund and make decisions on who funding is awarded to based on a group decision?

That's really interesting. I've always been amazed at how many people prefer VX to XP, in my opinion it's a step back and I'm hoping my favourite game developers don't make the switch to VX. I'd love to see a new maker that's an upgrade on XP rather than something new altogether. It'd be great to see something that actually supports more depth in games rather than just a maker that's more user friendly though I feel, from these trends, that Enterbrain may see the drop off in popularity as a reason to develop something that's easier to use and doesn't take much learning in order to pick up new interest.

Hi, Wondering if anyone can help me out with recolouring my main character's dress and boots. I'd like her dress in a red that matches her hair clips. It doesn't necessarily have to be the same red, I'd be happy if it was slightly lighter or slightly darker, just everything I've tried comes out too pink. I'm just after the main dress to be recoloured - the white shawl can remain as it is. I'd also like her boots to be a dark grey colour. If anyone's even slightly better than my attempts have been I'd really love your help. Cheers.

I figure it's good to be friendly and say ello. So I'm a closet gamer who figured I could have a crack at this thing myself. I'm also a perfectionist so things are going fairly slowly but I hope to have finished my own game in XP in at least the next 2000 years. I sincerely apologise for my noob status and promise to try not to be too annoying.
