New Layout And Design Produced: New Screen Shot!!! (for those that want to see the image seperately: http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/6130/br...scrnshtrw1.png) New Feature Added: Since I am releasing this browser on RM websites, I figured i should offer the following: If you would like, and if your website has 50+ members, you can request to have it put into the box on the top (shown in scrnshot) and users will be able to go to that site using the feature... Although I am having slight malfunctions in the coding (which should not be happening... hmmm) but once i gat a talk in with Pirate, this function should be working properly in time for the beta release... So, if you would like your site placed in the browser, just reply here and i will check out to see if your site is worthy or not... :)

Hey, i have recently been learning VB (the same thing Scrive is made with) and I have developed (and still developing) a simple web browser. The First v1.0 release will be this weekend and will still be in a beta stage. current features are: Back Forward Home Stop Refresh Browser (of course) Print (Beta) History (Beta) Settings [Like Homepage] Screen Shot Upcoming Features: Favorites Download Manager Better Design Tabbed Browsing If you would like to see certain features in this program, plesae reply with what you would want! I dont expect people to ever use this but its a good program for me to do so I can learn VB better!

ther eason why the splash screen is empty is becasue the program puts text onto it itself... it will eb filled with text so it wont be so empty and plain...

pirate, since scrive is already past 3.0 and thats what is says on the new splash screen, woudl you like me to change it to just 3 so it wouldnt contradict the version?

yeah... i guess that would make sense... when i amke things from GIMP they always turn out a certain style... unexplainable but i know taht i can do better in photoshop as i have used it before... im kinda limited to waht i can do with GIMP... i will make a image to do the best of my abilities (in gimp) to show what i can do... if you guys need a title screen, i am more than willing to make you one. all i ask is that you tell me the dimensions it needs to be... cuz i dont knwo what they are for XP or VX... but you can tell me exactly what oyu want i a will make it within a couple of days... if not hours. Just place your requests and ill get to work!

I was wondering if there is such a possible way to script a game being side-scrolling (such as games like mario and megaman). if it is at all possible, does anyone know where to find a script for such a thing? and if not, please tell me also so i dont wait forever just for nothing. thankyou.

I hope i am not intruding but im thinkin that i could do a better job with the same general idea... if you would like me to, i would love to go ahead and show you what i can do with something like that. it would be a very simple design for me and i bet mine would look better. not meaning to brad but a lot of people could do better.

oh... im just tryin to give as much advise on website as humanly possible... lol... adn yes the bg color of the logo is darker than the bgcolor of the logo space on the forums. i would post a scrn to show what i eman but my keyboard insists on being retarded...

the logo is pretty cool. but the background color for the logo is too dark. it doesnt match its surroundings. it would be easier to turn that image into a png and have the background transparent. if you want a true website, then learn HTML and design a homepage or something like that which makes the site a more personal feel and it gives you way mroe opportunities and ways to present your own creations.

i dont like it cuz the 'thing' is too bulky and fades to smaller, plain, boring text. if this logo thing is open for everybody, i could give a shot at it...

i like the logo on the forums. it was nicely placed and well thought out. although i find having sumthing like phpNuke or a portal as your home page, laziness. (but thats just me) it has a nice look and smooth on the eyes. i reccomend the following: if you can pay for a .com, then remove the ads on the top of your page (unless thats the way to pay for the domain) Place the affiliates images on the bottom (its not exactly a clean space up there) change the chat text to somehting easier on the eyes (never red text) Otherwise, its good and has potential. I would strongly urge to get a real website and not just a portal (although it is more conveniant and sometimes it is hard to customize a webpage) it makes it more personal to know that someone took the time to design a webpage for your visitors. and, i dont exactly like the circle logo... the shadow is a bit "hard" or scratchy and the edges of the circle are cipped away like you did it in paint or something. i would blur the circle's edges and re-shadow the text to smooth it out. if this was a bit too harsh, im sorry but i hope it helps. i myslef, do graphic design and webdesign so if you have any questions, ask me! but it seems you guys are very capabale of doing it yourselves.

I know im kinda new here so i havent earned much respect among you guys but, I love to do graphic deisgn and so i thought it would be a cool idea to see who can create the most creative and smooth design for anygame they choose. it can even be one they have alerady made. The game does not have to exist or being made. It can be anything random but still appropriate. There will be no prize here becuase i have nothin to give anyone can enter and i will be the judge. I will also take into consideration what program was used to create it so we all have a fair chance. you mus enter like so: Title of Image (image in spoiler) which program(s) were used. I would understand if you people didnt want to show me anything, and if i get persuaded, i will unleash my graphic talent into my own competition.

I think i signed up here a while back and never got around to actually being a part of this community... so, i guess this is my official hello (even if i have already said so) I, at the moment, am working with about three different groups of people with web design, graphics and maybe more... If you guys know Pirate (RMXPirate), ive been around him for a long time now... i designed one of his first websites he used (a while back so dont ask where to find it cuz its not there anymore) if anyone needs graphics or website help, I can be of great assistance. I am working with pirate on a game of his and i myslef will be making a megaman game (im not sure what maker ill be using yet tho, cuz i need a side scrolling script) so, just droppin in to say HI and i hope to be more active here!

just thought id join yet another RM community... im members at a couple so i dont know if i can be very active here but w/e... anyways, Im usually on at RMF (i got the link for RMXPU form there) and im a super mod over there... My interests are: Web Design Graphics Design RM (of course) Writing Mapping Sometimes Spriting (although im not that good at it) right now my projects are: My website RPGoogle (a search engine specifically for RM) My Sci-Fi Game (prob will be made in XP... unless i can figure out how to use VX... lol) I dont like VX very much and i eitehr hope the program has a global mega error or somone fixes it up nicely and comes out with resource converters or cool scripts... thats about it...
