My friends and I actually had a realistic conversation about this, lol. We discussed where we would go, considering we live in a small-town area. We finally decided on Wal-Mart. We'd barricade ourselves in. We have plenty of artillery there - guns, rifles, and the means to make explosives - alongside food, drink, places to sleep, working bathrooms. You can last decently long inside a Wal-Mart if there's only a few of you. And we'd have cameras to keep an eye on the zombies, since the windows and walls would be reinforced. If the zombies can't see you, they'll probably forget you're there. The people I would take with me would be my dad first off. He was a sniper in the military, is an electrician, a carpenter, a mechanic, and can pretty much fix anything. So if something stopped working, he could fix it most likely. He's also a very brilliant man. Second person I would take would be my uncle. Was also in the military alongside my father, and whatever my dad wouldn't think of, my uncle would. Last person would have to be my best friend, because I'd be bored otherwise. xP My dad and uncle are cool, but I need someone my own age.

Hey, I know I'm late in this, but I read the topic and just had to welcome you. You play many of the games I love, even if I don't play them anymore, lol. After three months of addiction to WoW, I had to give it up. I wish you luck with your project, and will be sure to look into it. Welcome. :alright:

Looking pretty good so far. I like the dark blend of colors. Most games are too bright for my liking. I especially like the guy. I'm eager to see his finished product.

My weekend originally entailed going and spending the night at a friend's so that I could actually get some undisturbed sleep (having kids around that wake up at six is just grand btw...) and get out of the house. Well, since the town is thirty miles away, I have no idea how I'd get back. So instead, I'll probably be here. One specific reason I hate weekends: where I live, the buses that go through the counties, don't run on weekends. -_-"

@Kage Kazumi: Thanks for adding to that, I didn't know any other details. It just goes to show you how completely ridiculous this truly is!! @Marked: I see your point there, but normally, windows are at a level where seeing him would have been impossible. And in this case, I'd be filing trespassing charges, and wondering why the mother would bring the child over there atop of that, as well as seeing that judge being fired.

@Marked: Thank you. I felt that if I was going to introduce myself, then I at least would make it different from others', since no one's the same. @Emanzi: Yeah, spriting takes too much patience sometimes for me. I can try to teach you, though I'm not sure how well that would go. I'm not much of a teacher really. I learned spriting oddly, naturally. I just tried it one day, and from there, it worked out great. I think it comes from years of being devoted to art. I'm not starting college till after the New Year, but getting ready for it is a pain. xP

Wow, these are good! I'm glad to see you're a fan of Legend of Dragoon. I haven't seen much work done for that game when it comes to RPG Maker.

Okay, so I heard this crazy story on the news not that long ago, but a guy who was reported to the police for being nude. In his own house. The police broke down the front door, restrained him, and pointed guns at him. They charged him with "Indecent Exposure." Was all that really necessary? This means two things to me. One, whoever reported the person, was way too close to that house. And two, we're no longer safe in our own homes.

That is flipping ridiculous. If the game had that sort of effect on dogs, we'd be hearing about it long before now. Or games with similar situations containing dogs barking. The fact that the woman hinted that the daughter may have kicked the dog, means the girl has done it before. Wow...just pure nuts.

So I meant to introduce myself the other day when I first registered, and even had this post window open, working on it while doing a quick search of this site's Download Manager to see in what areas needed contribution, but I ended up having to go and help move things. Long story short, my mother and sister are switching houses in the Winter to make things easier on my sister, nephew, and niece. Incidentally, kinda screwing me in the progress. Anyhow...so I'm a hobbyist. I write, read, game, game design, sprite, illustrate, hike, LARP, along with various other things. While I've been a programmer for an extended period of time, I had only started learning RGSS once. And then we discovered I had a genetic condition, which was incidentally, attributing to my memory problems. About a year later, I am still steadily recovering. But I don't like to talk about that too much... Outside that, I am a manageable person. Usually impassive, somewhat emotional, but tangible and patient. Thus why I took on spriting, lol. You need a damn good amount of patience for that. I like to see the humor in life more than anything. I guess if there is anything else anyone wants to know, then you can learn more about me better through posts and PMs if you're up for it. Don't know how often I will be on, since I'm starting college soon, have a ton of doctors appointments, and dealing with depression. My boyfriend left for the military in mid September. We were together four years ago and engaged, then apart for four years, got two months, and he couldn't get out of his contract. See, that's the sort of irony I can appreciate, even if it sucks. But I should be on decently enough, and contribute to the resources once I have more time, and am not working on my own projects. Very nice to be here, and I like this little community and hope to stay. :) ~Rya
