Well, considering the topic, I think that the colour scheme looks very decent so far - Red, Black and Purple are usually looked upon as "bleak" colours, perfect for annoyed or aggrevated people who just want to rage about something on the internet. There's not too much I can say about the layout for now, as I assume that it is unfinished. One thing I would advise though is give the Login and Register buttons at the top of the screen a different colour, as a dark shade of Purple can be hard to see with a Black background. Perhaps Red would be a better option, as Red stands out the most of the three colours. As for the topic of the forums, though... From what I understand, it's a forum especially made to rant in? Now, I could see a use for that, but you're going to need some very competent administrators if you plan on keeping it rolling for a long time. After all, if you place a lot of angry ranters together in a small area such as a forum... It can go out of hand real fast. Well, I hope that this helped a little bit. Good luck with your website! ;) -
I think that this is a very good song, fitting very well in most scenario's, in my opinion. Of course there are some exceptions though, such as the ones the previous posters listed. I'd personally still use this song in that scenario though, just because it's so good! The only real issue I personally have with it is that it sounds a little out of place in a 16-bit video game. But that's really just a minor issue, if you'd ask me. ;)

I don't know about how to download sprites off of "lose leaf", but I do know a way to erase the border around the sprites. You're going to need Photoshop for this though, so unless you have it, you can skip this part. :sweatdrop: Basically, all you need to do is erase the background with the eraser tool. However, make sure not to use the Background Eraser tool, as it has a habit of removing several layers of pixels that border your characters! Instead, you'll have to do the erasing by hand... It can be a time-consuming process, but it's very accurate. Keep in mind though, that Photoshop is a smart program - As long as your background is entirely in the same colour, then Photoshop will recognise where your actual image (the sprite) is, and will not erase it if there is still some part of the background in the selected area. I personally zoomed in quite a bit, and erased all the background around my characters first, and then took a bigger tool to erase the remaining background parts. Don't be afraid to go a little over your character, as Photoshop will not instantl erase it. As for Daigaion, thanks for the links, I'm sure they will be very useful! However, here's a website which you didn't list, yet helped me a great deal so far... Go ahead and give Naramura a try, I'm sure you'll run into some useful stuff! :alright:

Good day, everybody on the RMXPunlimited.net forums! My name is Leophard, and I'm your newest addition to these forums. I downloaded the trial version of RMXP about one week ago, and I almost instantly loved the program. In fact, I'm pretty certain that I'll buy it once the trial is over - Especially to complete the project I'm working on right now, which you'll be seeing a topic about in the not-so-distant future. Anyhow, in real life, I'm a 19 year old college student, following a course of Media Design. In my spare time I mainly like to play video games, hang out with my friends or girlfriend, or just relax after a period of hard work and stress. The main video games I play right now are World of Warcraft (Where I play a max leveled Shaman), Team Fortress 2 (Where I always play as a Scout or an Engineer), and Phantasy Star: Universe. I also casually play Runes of Magic, The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion, and Plants vs Zombies. One specific genre of video games has always interested me the most: The RPG. Being full of creativity, I love to come up with interesting stories or plot settings, and sometimes write them down for later use. While I usually never really used these stories and plot settings, I finally found someplace where I could use them... And that's how I ended up here! Well, and that's how far my introduction goes. If you have any questions about me whatsoever, feel free to ask them in this topic, and I would be happy to answer them for you. :alright: Nice to meet you all, and see you on the forums!
