wow that actually helps thanks! i shall use the first astronaut one, since its the closest to what my concept art for my characters looks like! does anyone know of any programs on making your own tilesets? im a pretty good artist, and i can probably whip up some cool moon-base/town type tiles for an overwold map look. -
Hello, i am currently working on a science fiction rpg and i am looking for a world map tileset. It needs to be set on the moon, it needs to have human space colonies of various sizes (your basic towns and bases) and it needs to have alien bases of various sizes (dungeons). I also need a moon tileset for maps that are set to scale with the characters (non world maps basically). any help locating a suitable one is appreciated. thanks. PS: Any help finding astronaut sprites would be much appreciated as well

hmmm it wont let me change the compatibility. theres no tab for it or anything -
ok when i try to do that, that screen of the battler doesnt pop up. also, is there anyway to scale a picture down? some of my pics are too big to fit on screen :/

Hello, I am currently working on a town in my RPG, and I need a modern/futuristic looking Town center type of environment. By this, I mean something that is modern, yet has some kind of fountain/statue point of interest. Like i was thinking of emulating the castle town of zelda games by featuring some kind of monument in the center of the square, with parks and stuff surounding it. but this needs to be modern/futuristic looking, which is were i am coming up short. I appreciate any help. thanks

UPDATE: Im going to be using Doom 3 era monsters. I would use classic doom ones, but i cant get them to fit very well (pixelated enemies stand out against really detailed backdrops)

When i try to upload a picture of a monster to use as a battler, theres a big white square in the background. Im assuming this is probably a common problem, so im just curious as to how I get rid of it. On that note, how can I increase the size of the battler (for boss fights were I only need to see the upper half of the boss). Can someone help me? I'd appreciate it

My first big project (just started yesterday) is going to be a spinoff of the game "Doom 2" acting as a prequel. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the plot of Doom 2, it concerns a demonic invasion of earth after a teleportation experiment on mars goes horribly horribly wrong. Its set during the events of Episode 4 from The unlitmate Doom (an expansion of the original doom) and will end were the main game of Doom 2 begins. Basic storyline wise, It concerns the early days of the demonic invasion from a civilian point of view. The main character is a construction worker who wakes up one day to find the city being overrun by demons. He sets out to protect his girlfriend and other survivors and ultimately escape from the city. I have the story pretty much planned out with bullet points now, and i have a general idea on the level design. Im working on fleshing out the characters and story while i gather resources (sprites, backgrounds, tilesets, ect.) I will have more information as I develop it. I appreciate any questions/critique

Hello, I am working on a horror themed RPG, and I was curious if there were any scripts for a flashlight effect? This project would feature scenarios in which you are submerged in darkness being hunted by monsters (like every horror game ever made). Im curious if there were a script that caused some kind of effect were you see a cone of light coming off of your character(ala a flashlight), illuminating a small area while everything else is dark. I appreciate any info i can get. thank you.

Hello! im a long time rpg fan, first time forum user, and i have a special request: Can somebody out there make me some "DOOM" sprites for RMXP? specifically: -The Doom marine -An Imp (represents early enemies) -A pinky demon (represents strong enemies) -A hell knight (boss sized) -A lost soul -A cyberdemon (large boss sized) -A zombie trooper I am currently working on a spin-off of Doom 2, and I am running short on monster sprites for the world map (the standard fare rmxp defaults arent going to cut it unfortunately). I will also require a modern human zombie battler sprites (just civilian. non military) I appreciate any help I can get, as this is the one case were google has failed me. Thank you!
