Nice!! That was a trip seeing all those characters again. I was thinking about making kind of a prequal to suiko1, set in the scarlet moon empire, likely including the kalekka tragedy, humphrey's story, the story of the generals, etc etc. I think that a game with mostly new characters and just a few of the old favorites would give more room for creativity and less brick walls to run into. And itd solve the sprite problem. Then again, I was also thinking of making one about the chinese classic that suikoden was taken from, outlaws of the marsh or water margin. That book is an absolute goldmine for RPG's in my opinion. PM me your thoughts and ideas, maybe we can make something work. The world needs a new good suikoden game!

PS2 emulators work now? I guess it has been 5 plus years... where does time go? Not working on a game right now. Just got back into RPGmaker... Last one I used extensively was 95, then 2k. So I'm having to relearn a lot of stuff. I mean, I've got a project going right now, but its only to learn eventing and some mapping. As soon as I figure it out a little bit, and hopefully sooner rather than later, I'll be starting a Suikoden :shok: fan game. IF you wanna work on one together, I'm game.

He's in S5?! I didnt know there were any reoccuring characters... And if the storyline is good again to boot...well, i gotta get that game. And another PS2 apparently. Grrr...I've bought that damned system like 5 times already. FF8 wasnt really my thing, although in fairness, I haven't played it since it came out, and at that time i hated any rpg that was the least bit 'futuristic' Maybe I should DL the iso of it somewhere and try it again
