  1. I noticed the following while not logged in - seems like a couple errors in SQL for the guest user and some issues with a couple PHP pages as well. Just wanted to report them in case you weren't already aware. Also, the site seems to be going very slow right now!
  2. I really feel like they dropped the ball with the DS RPG Maker. I feel they should continue the RPGMaker line with Windows support, with the capability of exporting to DS, instead of actually having to use the DS to create the game. I feel as if this, like VX, was a step back.
  3. Hey...what about RPGMaker95! It took my RPGMaker virginity, how dare you leave it out?
  4. I can provide you with registry keys that will trick your software into thinking that the trial period is over. I could also provide you with a file that effectively "activates" the full version on your machine. I however do not know how Marked feels about piracy, and have no way of enforcing you to purchase the software at the end of 30 days...I'll leave this one up to Marked. Besides the above, my searches through the depths of the interweb returned nothing. Not even Protexis could help me out, sorry!
  5. The browsers you use (and addons) are not important. What operating system do you use? Have you tried running as an Administrator with compatibility set to WinXP SP2/3? While the program is running, fire up a command prompt (Start -> Run -> type "cmd" -> press Enter) and type in "netstat -a" See if there are any extra IP addresses/Domains listed. Is it even trying to connect to Enterbrain's server? If you don't know how to read netstat, post your results here and I will look over the info for you!
  6. I spoke with a few members of my old team last night. I thought I had convinced myself not to revive any of my dead projects, but they changed my mind. This Post is reserved for future updates. Expect one by the end of this weekend by our Character/Storyline developer.
  7. Thanks for all the welcome guys. I was afraid this didn't get posted at first. Site seemed to go down for me as soon as I made the topic :X I can't say I'm particularly good at either. I enjoy doing both - but wouldn't list either as one of my fortes (cough, cough, scripting, cough) Please do! I completely understand! I was that way at one point - but it became completely overwhelming for me. If you change your mind, let me know! I wish I did. I really haven't been part of an RPGMaker community before, and there have been many factory restores on this machine since I have used RPGMaker...I should probably invest in a backup! 70s/80s rock - to include Journey, Styx, Foreigner, Queen, Heart, Def Leppard, The Zep, Elton, Eric, too many to name. Thanks for asking though. Music is one of my favorite things. I could not live without it. You have a particular genre that you like?
  8. Hello, everyone! I'm Descendant of Orr (a Guild Wars fan :D) and I'm new to the RMXP Unlimited community. I'll start off by saying I am not new to RPGMaker. I started using RPGMaker95 when I was 10 or so, and have used every major versions since. I am not a fan of 2003 or RMVX, and consider RMXP my pride and joy. I have never worked on a completed project (although my friends and I have started a couple), but would like to change that now. I am to ambitious of a person to start and finish my own project...as I complete parts of the game, new ideas and additions add up and I seem to slip further and further from completion as time passes. I am a perfectionist - thus I hold games I work on to high standards and hate bugs, graphical errors, incorrect grammar, misspellings, etc. in games that I work on. So, I'm joining this community in hopes that I can help someone with their game. I enjoy most aspects of RPGMaker - Mapping, Scripting, Database Creation, Balancing...and almost anything else. I am not much of an artist though. Drop in and say hi, and if you have a project that you need help with, let me know! Until I find something to do, I will probably loiter around the scripting help forum - while trying to clean this rust away.
