It Worked! Thanks so much. While we're on the subject of battlers, do you have any idea how to make a battler do a skill animation without using all the flashy bits? Like for example you have a character who has a bow, but has a skill or ability where he can pull out a sword and fight up close? I know how to animate it and all that, but I'm not sure where to put the animation, am I supposed to put it into the animations database where the skills are,or am I supposed to simply go into the script and tie the sword animation to an skill that way?

ok, i'll try changing the amount of rows. I have another question I know THIS is the standard format for battlers But Do I need to set them up spaced closer together or farther apart if my custom battler is bigger/smaller than the norm?

Ok So I just got RPG maker Xp, and am having a lot of fun with it, but I keep encountering this problem that's been holding me back in my progress. In the first pic my party is at the top and the enemy (Frog) is at the bottom, the battler works correctly without a hitch. But whenever I try to load custom battlers, (or sometimes battlers that we're in the game already) I get the error you can see in the second pic where the hound is cut in half. It keeps scrolling through the selected row of sprites, as it is supposed to, but for some reason there is a gap between the images causing it not to fluidly animate. I've gone into the advanced configuration and set up the hound's battler in the custom settings, and it still doesn't work. Edit: I'm also using the Chrono trigger battle add-on. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks.
