sidquest idea? maby something along the lines of a trophy/achievement system. bring zelda into a more competitave moddern age? lol just a though. i developed a sort of trophy system. i could send you my demo of it if u want an idea of how i do the system. pm me if u want

if u want i could whip up some multi collored trophy icons for ya.

you could do something with events where every time a certain event happens it has a command that adds 1 to a specific variable and that variable is an achievement. then have like a special room whith a bunch of like "trophies" that when u get an achievement the variable for that event activates the trophy on some sort of pedestal and you can go like action button on each one and it says like what its called and how u got it. and like if u don't have one on an empty pedestal it would say like "such and such achivement...do this that and the other.. status= not achieved" or something like that. basic just variables and events stuff. edit- you could add another menu item saying "trophy room" and that would be where you could go view what ever saves trophys aswell as having a dedicated room in the game for that like in your house or living quarters last edit lol- if u don't completely understand my msg i can whip up a demo for you to give you an idea on how it would work. pm me if ur interested.

well right now i just ended up buiding my game out of a demo of the system i liked best lol. but i might not use that as my full game yet not sure. and even then who says the first thing im going to do with rmxp is going to be a full fleged game lol. so ive got alot of learning to do before i even begin working on my current idea.

Hey, im working on a game in rmxp. im a first time user but im getting the hang of things. one thing i don't like is the default battle system. i was wondering if someone here could help me come up with a custom battle system/engine script for my game. i don't know EXACTLY what i want but i have a fair idea. for example. id like the stat bars at the bottem to be a heck of alot less noticeable. and id like a side view attack system very much like early final fantasy or like a cameara motionless version of FFVII's set up (final fantasy seven) if u have skype that would make things alot easier as i can explain myself much better through voice as opposed to text on a fourm. thanks for anybody willing to take the time to help i greatly appreciate it.

Id also like to nominate john. he has encouraged me to continue on my musical path by offering me the lead composer possition on his developer team for "Merlin the RPG" without this encouragement i might just be sitting here now with nothing to do, nothing to listen to xD nothing to make, no creative vent. so for that i thank you. you have also made me realize my musical potential and given me the encouragement that i was in desperate need of to continue my work. so for that i am eternaly greatful. your a good friend john and i can't wait to see MRPG when its finished :D

so this is for the title screen of your game? or the opening cut seen (ik wrong seen xD) and you want a sort of majestic intro type of song, lots of strings light precussion, flutes, harp ect. sound good? edit-ill try to add some harmonious "ahhs" and "ooohs" in there for a choir affect if u want. ill make one with and without (trust me there is a diffrence) then u pick which u wish to use lol
