  1. Welcome welcome welcome! I hope you enjoy it here :) I'm sure you'll make plenty of friends. This is a friendly community.
  2. From what I gather, Greymon is a completely new character and as such will start at lvl 1 unless changed. Go to actors and click on Greymon. Then look under class for initial level. Change the initial level to whatever you want. Of course, if it is a skill and you want the lvl to reflect the lvl of the current character then you might need a script for that.
  3. I read them lol :) You always did strike me as the spy type. I hope you've not compromised yourself in sharing this information with us.
  4. I want to fit in so I'm going to do this too. Name: Joshua Alias: ThatOneGaijin Sex: Mail <---jk jk I know it's spelled male. Hair color: black Eye color: Green Favorite color: Green Marital Status: Married <--- sorry to disappoint you ladies Sexual Orientation: Straight Occupation: ESL teacher Favorite video games: Zelda A Link to the Past. So many memories. Also, Tales of Symphonia. Useless Facts: I can clap with one hand. Lefty or Righty: I am a southpaw <---- code for left handed. The correct grammar is "whom do you admire": I admire admirable people. Goals/Dreams: Become the best teacher in all the world! That should do it. I'll leave the rest of me a mystery. Thanks for reading to those of you that took the time to.
  5. I have no idea if you should or not but I will tell you that, terrible or not, very few people actually finish games. So just you finishing it has my respect. If you don't want to upload it here than send me a copy. I'd love to play your game.
  6. I miss my wife :(

She's in the states. But she's coming soon!!

  7. Haha I never meant to say your script was simple. I imagine it took a lot of hard work. I only meant to say that anything I could offer would be simple but even if it was something simple I would love to contribute.
  8. Nice! I'll give your games a whirl. I'll pm you when I get the chance to try them :) Just finishing a few games is actually quite an accomplishment. Most everyone (including myself) drops their project or loses all the data before it's finished. Kudos to you sir :)
  9. It's people like you that make me want to learn some programing. Even if it's just the most basic of scripts for performing a simple task. I want to be able to contribute something worthwhile, like this, to the community. All the fancy maps, awesome music and sleek graphics are nothing with out quality programming. Thanks for your contribution :)
  10. I don't think you need a scrip for that. I mean you would but it is already in the game maker. You can set music to the map. If you want to attach the music to something in the game you can create an event and place the music through an event (The Chrono Trigger monster behind the piano comes to mind). If you just want to be able to control the music wherever you want in game then you would need some sort of sound test script that was placed in the menu, which would look much like the script by ForeverZer0 you linked.
  11. Sounds fun! Well hurry up and get a demo going lol! I'm ready to play!!
  12. Well your game sounds pretty well thought out. Do you have any plans for more characters or anything? Pm me when you get a working demo. I'd love to give this game a try :)
  13. Good call heritic. I didn't even think of that. You might also want to check your tileset to make sure it can go through. Although if it works with text than I doubt that's the problem.
