@Omar510: Well, I can say that there is 10% of the game in general are complete. This is why I've accomplished to make the entire databasse, with all items to craft, weapons, animations and etc. Its just a little to release a demo, tough. And about the game, I don't understand why you said that there is too much fantasy. I think that if there is too much fantasy I can play with a lot of concepts that I couldn't in usual medieval games. It's similar to create a sci-fi game: anything can exist. @madanchi: Thanks, I really worked a lot on their background, what I've posted is just the peak of the iceberg ;) @Tomo2000: Thanks! About the demo, you'll have to wait a bit... I don't have idea of how much time, but what I have completed for the game is not enough to release a decent demo for now, but will be released as soon as possible.

You'll may notice very similar points to some stories/films of this genre, where the people believed that the human really had power to walk over the water and stand on a single bamboo. I've been working a LOT on the database and I can guarantee that it is nearly to be fully completed. Items, armors, abilities, crafting items, custom animations, enemies, Everything. STORY SYNOPSIS The World is a corrupt place. The ambition is the biggest cause of the World's decay. The plants and animals are dying, monsters are everywhere destroying villages and there's only a few groups determinated to make the difference and fight against the government. One of those rebels are called "Spellbladers", a group of warriors capable to summon the power of nature with their Katanas. Tired of trying to save the World from total decay and believing that all the bad things are the Emperor's guilt, they decided to put on action their last hope: To use the mystic power of a woman, the true incarnation of the goddess Izanami.The problem is: that woman is the daughter of the Emperor. The Spellbladers must take her out of the Palace walls and awake Izanami's powers that sleeps inside her. It is their last hope to save the World. To worse the things, the Empire sent the most cruel assassins to catch the Spellbladers. Now, while they try to awake Izanami they also have to stay out of the sight of the assassins. As they proceed, the World is more and more filled with monsters, life is vanishing from the world and no one can explain why: But the Empire is hiding something very dangerous. Someone has to do something. PLAYABLE CHARACTERS Jubei keeps blaming himself about what happened in his village in the past. He is one of the best warriors of the Spellbladers and is in charge of the capture and to protect the woman said to be the incarnation of Izanami. He strongly believes that the World corruption is about something that the Empire hides. This man is serious and focused on his objectives, but his heart will beat fast for the one he is destinated to protect, even he denying this fact. He uses a Katana as a weapon and his status are very well balanced in therms of physical and magic attacks. His SPELLBLADE techniques summons the power of nature to slash his enemies. She is the only daughter of the Emperor Toshiozuki. Her mother died five years ago, and never saw the outside world. Fumiko has a pure and innocent heart. When she was little, her mother used to sang songs to her, calling her a "little orchid". Now, on the eve of her 18 years, Fumiko will face her destiny without knowing that the spirit of Izanami sleeps inside her. Taught by powerful mages since as a child, her SORCERY skills heals and protects herself and her allies. He is a member of a clan of faceless killers called "Basarers". They do anything for money and no one has ever seen their faces. Tetsuo is one of those unknown mans with a deadly spear in his hand. He was hired by the Emperor to capture the princess and to kill her raptor. That made his destiny cross with Jubei's and this will change the future of both of them forever. Tetsuo HIDDEN ARTS are capable of poisoning, blinding and inflict many other status on his foes. Fumiko saves this friendly fox and since then, the fox starts to protect her. He is a very clever beast and has incredible powers. As time passes Fumiko starts to think that there is some kind of warrior spirit trapped into the fox body. His BEASTLY ARTS uses the clever and intelligence of a mystic animal to buff himself and his allies, besides of being an excellent weapon in battle. Emi is known as the goddess because of her affinity with magic. She is very mysterious and is hard to say if she is telling the truth or lying. At first, Emi shows as an enemy of Jubei and Fumiko, but the destiny once again will make they fight for the same reason. Emi is a very powerful witch and summons devastating spells with her MAGIC skills. Another deadly warrior. Despite his incredbly power and agility, Ukyo is more like a clown than a ninja. He always have an answer to any question they make and disappear fast as he shows up. He'll join Jubei's quest because he wants to stay close to Emi, his "true love" according to him. He uses two powerful daggers and his NINJUSTU skills to take advantage over the enemies. IN-GAME SCREENS GAME FEATURES "The Orchid's Dream" uses Victor Animated Battle. I'm spending a LOT, LOT of time customizing the system to be exactly what I want, and totally not-default-using animations and configurations of the script. Some screens below: The game also will have a simple but very fun Crafting / Item Synthesis System that allows you to make almost EVERYTHING. *READ THIS FIRST!* Greetings. I'm Wendell Simmons and I'm brazilian, so, if I make a grotesque english error, please, forgive-me. This is not my first project, but it's the first one that I'm really focusing and working a lot on. I hope you like it and give your thoughts about the game and your suggestions. CHARACTERS - There are more characters, but they profile will spoil the game's story and mystery, so, I decided to not post them. STORY Helvetios is the most recent discovered planet. The Earth Federation built a base in order to study the life's conditions in that planet, as they find out a very high percentage of oxygen in it's atmosphere. At the game's current year, something happened in the base. The robots that were helping the scientists with the research attacked and killed almost everyone in the base. An Elite Soldier from Earth was sent to the planet Helvetios to lead the base's soldiers and help to evacuate the area to a safe spot, to wait for back up and the rescue ship. When he arrives, he finds a few survivors, but no one knows what really happened or where is the other survivors. Hanz finds himself trapped into a hostile planet and have to find a way to escape with any survivor he can find, but he can't trust anyone: what was told him maybe isn't the truth about the robot's attack. Can be Earth Federation the one behind of it all? It's up to you to find out! THE ENDINGS Helvetios have 4 different endings, all of them based on your choices during the game.The main endings are: BAD ENDING, the ranking C GOOD ENDING, the ranking B TRUE ENDING, the ranking A SECRET ENDING, the ranking S FEATURES 4 different endings; New Game+ after completing the game with a ranking B or A; New weapons and locations acessible while playing the New Game+ Mode; A large variety of shotting types; GAME ENGINE Helvetios uses the SAPPHIRE ACTION SYSTEM created by Khas Arcthunder (http://arcthunder.site40.net/). If you walk too close of the wall and the edges you will see the cape of the hero ''entering'' the wall tileset a little. Well, I am very sorry for this but nothing can be done, until a new and improved version of the SAS be released. Some enemies, like the floating eye ones and other ones that only uses ranged attacks, will stop attacking if you or he get pressed in to a wall. This is also a script bug, and cannot be fixed yet. I hope you all understand this, cause I know nothing about scripts and I depend on the creator to fix this. Nice to meet'cha! Well, about programming I'm just a RPG Maker user. About scripting I'm good at taking a look at the entire code and make some basic modifications. I'm not good on creating resources, but I'm moderately good at editing. I play with RPG Maker about 5 years, and well, I'm very good at eventing. Actually I'm only working with VX Ace.
