    Joey & Mikey: ZOMBIES!?
  1. Wow, that's basically what I'm doing in my game with most characters. Some of the main characters are myself as well as my friends. :p

    Cool.

  2. Mikey's my younger brother. Actually, everyone in that game that has a main role is someone I'm friends with in real life or related to. Claylen is my friend from high school, and Brandon is a friend from middle school who's started my training in martial arts.

  3. Who's Mikey then? lol Just thought about that... XD

  4. Wow, your real name is Joey. XD

    Same here, lol.

  5. Actually, that Joey is based on me. My name irl is Joey, and my wife's name is Ashlee (the same one I have a sprite for on here actually >.>) sorry to burst your bubble Joey =p

  6. lol, I'm in your game about zombies. xD

  7. Sounds pretty interesting to be honest. I may have some use for it, since I did have something that made some time pass in one game I was messing around with (A dating sim kinda game). But it was all done with variables and events and such since I can't really script much. But yeah, back on topic, I'd say this would make a game a little more interesting.
  8. Well, my character is usually neutral, with a lean towards chaos (so, chaotic neutral) in most of the games I make that have a definitive storyline, but in ones that are up in the air and don't focus soley on the main character and their story, then it's really the player's choice on how the character turns out, kinda like fable or KoTOR 1 & 2
  9. O.o The first one (about the world falling apart) is Final Fantasy 1 for the NES, and Custer's Revenge was some old Atari game, and you've seriously never heard of Mortal Kombat? It was one of the bloodiest games ever released, it's the reason why the ESRB exists... Anyways, yeah mature content in an RMXP game would be cool, I know that I'm willing to include it (can't make a zombie game without it really). Though things like nudity and such would be an interesting twist to see in an RMXP game Also, Pac-Man's about a guy on drugs... think about it...
  10. I think it's called for at times, I swear -alot- (I mean a lot by the way, more than necessary) but then again they're just words to me. It's no different than someone calling me a toaster. If used the right way anything can be a good insult... like, well, toaster. You could call someone a toaster with wholewheat bread stuck in them, and if they're pissed off enough, they'll take it as an insult just like they'd take calling them a mother fucker as an insult. A little off topic there but yeah, is swearing -really- necessary... probably not. But it's just easier and more fun to swear at times.
  11. I have a question that I don't really know the answer too, nor do I know who to ask really. So I've decided to ask it in my blog. Anyways, onto the question in uh... question. If you outline another RMXP Battler, then draw in your own lines, color it your own way, change just about everything about it but the basic pose, is that considered a recolor or a whole new piece of work? I'm leaning towards that it's something new, since well, you didn't just recolor it to a different color set, you actually drew lines in and such. But that's just me, I'm kind of curious to see what the rest of RMXPunlimited has to say about this since some of the sprites I'll do may just be considered recolors, and thus I wouldn't be a spriter.
  12. I think I seen a script like that, but there's one included in the Side View battle system I found on the net, I'll get the name and PM you with it, cause I know it shows various status effects (like KO'd characters lay on their sides, and characters can float)
  13. I like it (the new one I mean), looks pretty good. Kinda reminds me of the old SNES RPG's with a nice picture. I'd give it a 9, and pending the choice of music, it'd possibly be a 10. The only real thing I have to say as far as critique goes is that the lightning sphere looks a little off at first glance, almost like it was squared out. But that could just be the planet behind it. Either way, nifty looking.
  14. The completed sprite sheet for Alphonse Elric. I made this for Joey's game, but it's free to use for anyone. Just remember to give credit where it's due. :)
