Now working on female example, not to worry i will begin working of full characters soon enough, the temp is high priority now is all ^^ --- More work on Terra, look to the heavens!

That's one evil looking motha ^^, nice edit. Only thing that bothers me is his stance is a bit off balance, the sword on the left hand, looks like it's about to slip out of his hand. And that hind foot should be coming out more if you know what i mean, too tucked away imo. If you do remake it i hope you improve these things.

Why is that? Anyway i'd like these deleted since i made a small shading error i fixed. I'll pm you next time then. To anyone who's downloaded these, the shading error is on the back of the head for one of the side frames and back, one frame had a darker shade. Images replaced! Hello guys, first forgive me if this has been asked before, i want to delete an image from my album and i can't seem to find the function. Would i have to notify a mod to do this for me?

Oh yeah better without the belt line man, i only leave it in as a guide for the less experienced spriters, same as the scalp marker. I have no problems with edits, i'm the same way, i can better explain by showing ^^ ----------------- I will only add w.i.p material here now. ---- A cleaner/improved version of the example character added to top. --- Some sprited battlers added to album. --- Female added to album along with shadow version. --- A little extra addition to the example character, more added to shoulder pad and a little extra for fun.

I prefer the blank face myself, but different strokes and all that ^^ E- forgot to add that i added another pic to top folks. As you can tell the template is bigger than original tykes but you still sprite in the same manner, keep it simple and low color for the most part. A bit more detail can be added to hair and face since head is bigger now, for this pic i uploaded i didn't bother to add any shine to hair, i've grown to dislike adding that for some reason. --------- Female arms edited and uploaded to top.

A bump for new material. I have now added separate heads for mouth and nose, copy paste these in Paint. I have removed the example stuff which was at bottom of page, will add better example (or first complete character) later on though. ****************** Important I have lowered the scalp line on forehead by a pixel, and i lightened skin color for 2nd color a tad. Chief Hot chick ;), saw the movie and i thought it wasn't that bad, it had some pretty good fights, though i thought the wardrobe for some of the cast was a bit too theatrical or fake looking.. The main character's tattered clothing looked terrible imo. Mostly used template colors here, an experiment/practice character. --- e- A frontal frame for the female has been added to the line on top, couldn't use the male body for female characters it seems, working bigger means i have to make some slight edits at least, which is what i did. I may make some further edits to the female edit. e- some pixel work removed from previous female frame. e- Some sleeves added to first (farmer) example character ^^ e- A look at color 2 for male added to top. ******************************************************************* E- Male template added to top folks, i got rid of the shine marker because it was bothering the hell out of me in the end ^^ If you have beef then let me have it :) ------ Since adding the gif file to the top of the page i made a 2 pixel change to the hand moving forward on the the second side frame. Check out the walking animation for the frontal frame guys (last from left to right is a gif file), i've already made a very slight edit to the crotch area for the step frame but i did so after i made this gif. CrimsonInferno People are always looking for face sets bro ^^, good luck to ya. Chief Cool man :alright:, BIG fan of Shintaro Katsu's Zatoichi, i've seen all 26 films and without a doubt they are all fantastic, look for his TV series as well when you get the chance ^^

I would buy a DS for just this game if... you could actually sprite your own material such as characters and tilesets, otherwise it's a no buy for me. I've played all of the console rpg makers at one point or another and i've hated them all, only the psx rpg maker had a little something going for it with the character maker, but that wasn't good enough (for me anyway). Hopefully you can at least sprite characters here too?

I love Gimp (it's free) ^^ Nice picture man, you can make some face sets for peoples games if you wanted to as well, would look pretty cool in this style.

It's not really hair my man, though you could use it as a buzz cut hair style XD, it's actually a scalp marker for anyone who has trouble knowing where to add hair or how low to go. The shine you see on the head is also a maker to help you out with adding lighting to hair and such, anyone can change it, i just prefer light hitting from the top left. Thanks bud, and it gets better ^^ I finally have the final look for the frontal now, makes the others look very crappy eh? :D I also added a mouth and a nose on separate heads on the bottom, save and zoom in for a closer look ;) I will probably make a few smaller adjustments to this last one and off i go to the back and side frames.
