Click on that, click download, save the file to your desktop, open the zip. file, drag the file inside to your desktop and you got it! From there you can just open up the game and click on the shop map, in there click on the girl inside for the event. Read the comments for directions. Below the comments is my example. The shady dude in game will give you 1000 gold when you press space when facing him. The map is playable so you can start outside if you want. I know I took awhile, but I made the map playable for more interest. Hello? Anyone there? This forum is really empty. Has it always been like this?! EDIT Ok sorry Marked. Ooops, sorry! I forgot to write that I asked polraudio and he/she/it said it was okay. Marked, could you make it so we can close threads. Not delete them but stop posting on them (the author of the thread I mean). Or at least the ability to edit the title so we can say: "Door event help-RESOLVED"?

Depends, are you using them to make an item(doesn't count)? Or as a normal event(counts)?

I love how you made a second layer of wall edges on the bottom left corner of the last map! I never knew how to use those crumbled stones..I still don't... I just don't like how they look. WOW! That's amazing! I love the cliff! In my current project the first town is a snow town and the first dungeon is too.

What image? You mean the random character? Just go into your materials and export the second Lancer sprite sheet. I just erased the paint canvas after that though so I don't see why it matters....

So I was just playing around with sprite-ing, I'm horrible at it. I know how big of a window to open up in paint, (I just export some random pre-made character and erase the canvas) but I want to know how big each square of space I have for each side.( each direction he faces and walks in) Is that impossible to understand? Example: I make a walking right with his right foot sticking out as if he were to step forward. When I make the next sprite, part of mario's foot appears with that foot when walking in game. :(

He made a game/demo thing for the puzzle! I got it to work by doing this: conditional brach-if player is facing Left: play SE, move this event left Else: conditional brach-if player is facing Right: play SE, move this event right Else: conditional brach-if player is facing Up: play SE, move this event up Else: conditional brach-if player is facing Down: play SE, move this event down! It might seem a little more confusing but I had to do it because the move away from player wouldn't work; for me anyways.

Solved! Thankyou Arkbennett for helping out! BTW, your "move away from player" thing didn't work, so I had to make a long conditional brach of branches of whether or not and which direction the player is facing, and according to that: where the boulder goes; but it probably didn't work because I was being stupid! This is a HM Jack sprite sheet I made for RMXP. It's ready to go into RMXP because I made the size the same as a normal char-sheet. Note that I did'nt make the sprites. I took four sprites and flipped, twisted, and screwed around with them to make a full sheet. I'm working on some event's that will make him able wo equip some tools, and use them! Enjoy and please give credit when used. So what you are saying is that if you were to turn a switch on, and make a new event page with the condition of that switch being on, you could leave it blank? Because now that I think of that it makes sense.. Always learning new things

ROFL! Before I found out there was a script for this kid of thing (and was stubborn and tried to learn everything without help all by myself :P) I made a mini gaem where this guy tells you to go collect some animals. So I made it when you pressed the action button the animal would follow you.
