Well I am about to go to bed and would like to reply to each one, but time is short as I work in the morning. But to give you a better idea here is my writing style that I will be using. 1) 3rd person 2) Every book will have a prologue and epilogue. 3) Each chapter will follow the events of a different character (e.g. something like George R R Martin does in his "A song of Ice and Fire" series.

Well try a more threatening approach. What's so ridiculous about it? I have watched many Documentaries on how the world will end; but all are predicted far after we are dead and gone. 1) Solar Flare 2) The moon is moving away from us and we are moving closer to the sun (actually all the planets are moving closer to the sun according to scientists. In time the sun will engulf us, but it's rays will kill us be the world vanishes in its gas ball of fire. 3) or if time allows it the sun will die before it roasts us. 4) A huge ball of rock....this could happen at anytime and yes we have the technology to see it coming; but I think the movie Armageddon (the movie) is far from a truth to this situation. All the listed above are science proved and 1-3 are far after I am dead. But even for number 1 which could also happen at anytime. And lets not forget some people believe mankind will kill itself off. War or Plague.

Alright so I am working on a novel series called Necrosis Chronicles (NC) with the first book to be 'The Falling.' Now the problem as small as it is, is I'm having trouble deciding when to start the novel. By when, I am referring to a span of time in the novel itself. But before I continue on my dilemma why don't I bring you up to speed on a little about Necrosis Chronicles: The Falling. In NC a disease surfaces that causes the following symptoms in people: hallucinative, violent behavior, blindness, necrosis of the outer skin or internally, and swelling of the brain. The diseases becomes known as the Necrosis Plague (NP) for the obvious reasons that is causes the decay of the epidermis or internal organs. The disease can be spread: air born (lives only 30 sec), sexually, blood (e.g. sharing needles or open wounds), and biting (tearing of flesh; not just making teeth marks). The overall idea of NC is to show the slow decline from a technological world to a medieval life style with very little technology. After the NP has been out for awhile people find that they can not cure the infected, but they can prevent people from getting it. The disease also is the cause of a war. In an attempt to get ride of NP once a vaccination shot had been made some countries decide to kill those who are already infected. NP kills off plenty of people, but the majority of deaths are caused from people killing the infected, people they think are infected, and the war cause also kills a variety of people. Now my dilemma is I am not sure if I should show the disease when it first breaks out or skip ahead by 5 or 10 years after the disease or even skip ahead to the time of the war.

Yes this is common on any message board. An example would be if you looked at the Naruto Fan Forum which contains 164,882 members and we all know not all of them are active. Plus their main website/network has 3 million members; but this is where you actually find active members as it cost money to be a member on their website/network. Well what I am trying to do is to create a different Magic Classes. One being a witch that can only perform magic, by using items. So using the COMMON EVENT and a conditional branch. But it wont work as the character performs the Magic even if she has or n=does not have the correct ingredients (items).

How about we all just stop using the internet to try and prove a fact. I mean yes Wiki is a nice place, and full of many things based off fact, but like all things about the internet here is a fact for you. 98% of all stuff on the internet is bull shit (not based off facts). This comes from research done back in like 2007. Meaning that you only have a 2% chance of finding a site that gives the facts about something. As for planet X I did a search on the Discovery website and the only topics brought up relate to 2012, so I doubt this plant exists (take note I said doubt and not simply does not). Now I am not saying anyone here got their facts from Wiki I just simply used it as an example. Your best bet is to go to a local college in your area (regardless of your age) and see if they have someone who teaches Astronomy (the study of stars, galaxy, and everything that is space) and ask them about Planet X. Now on a side note the only reference I have ever heard of Planet X was when I watched a Documentary on the discovery channel about how our world was made. When the solar system was first formed there where two plants rotating on the same axis which crashed into each other. This collision caused the Earth to spin and tilt on it's axis. The rest of the debri formed our little moon. This also explains why some rocks can only be found on one side of the Earth, but can be found on the moon as well.
