Welcome. You came to the right place to learn. We have a bunch of tutorials and if you need further help make a topic and we will jump right on it. If you want to look at my project i can upload it for you and you can open it up in RMXP and rip it apart to see how some systems are made. It has helped some people.

Exactly how Tom said it except minus the loop and wait and instead of using it on every map try using a Common Event so its completely global and it will trim your work down by 99%. Not sure but i think common events work in battle also. Someone smart might be able to figure out the % thing because im very bad with %'s.

Been a while since i posted here so. Mine is not the best but it is a little messy. Piles of games, programs and files in the corner by the door. Yea i need to clean it. I usually have stuff all over the walls but i cleaned the room a little last night.

Yea i know. Was just showing people what the difference was. I was amazed how low it is tho. I thought it was at least high. I remember when i looked at the graphics for consoles and thought that was the best it gets. Once you go PC its hard to go back.

I was comparing PC graphics to the console graphics and boy what a difference. After playing GTA4 on PC for a few weeks i went back to my console to see what the difference was and boy after starting GTA4 on the console i thought i was playing a PS1 game again. I used the same TV for my desktop and console to compare. I used the same Resolution and tried to match the graphics on the PC with the console. It turns out that GTA4 on the console is using just below medium graphics. Never thought there was a difference before till i got a PC. Note: Yes i was bored

Yea XP hands down. You can do so much more with XP and it looks and feels better. I look at VX like a Child's game maker. Think of it this way Windows Vista(VX) = Fail Windows XP(RMXP) = Win Welcome to RMXPU and if you need anything feel free to ask.
