All you need to do is set up a button that, when you click it, will pull up 2 windows: one for the name, the other for the script. After that, make it so the information is added to the file. It has been a long time since I went through my VB beginners course, but I do know that is a rough way of how to do it. You need to open the file, add the information, and close the file.

All right, but If you can set up one for me that I can add scripts into myself, I would greatly appreciate it. I am running far too low on space, and getting far too disorganized. I am starting to lose my scripts... lol

I still recommend adding your own scripts into it. Then, instead of asking for every script and worrying about getting your butt nailed for you adding a script and someone claiming you stole it, people can customize their own and your butt is safe.

Well, I will tell you guys my guidelines for what i need in a mapper: I need all the maps to interconnect seamlessly. The randomization of nature must be absolute. By this, I mean it must look truly random. No real borders, meaning that a whole side could be open for teleport, but make sure that the first 2 tiles in from that edge are clear. (By this, I mean you must have the first tile to teleport to the new map, and the next tile in clear for coming into the map.) No special effects using events. I prefer to take care of this myself in leu of the fact that my eventing will be a very delicate thing. The scripting and events are very closely intertwined. All maps that are outside are 30x30. Maps can use caves, but remember we will have to go back and make said caves. If anyone is interested, let me know. I could use just 1 more mapper. I am about 24.6% done with maps, but that doesnt include buildings, caves, etc.

I did make one, but I broke the rules reguarding the events, so I am out of this month. I will still submit it, but don't vote for mine to win. EDIT: Also, I have found a way to make scripting bring new light into mapping and other fun little effects. Sorry, no preview of this, but I will show it eventually.

May i make a couple recommendations? 1. A dropdown box that will list say, 15 of them. (you might not have this many yet, but it will help in teh future. 2. the ability to add scripts into the archive yourself. Simply to save on having to constantly download new versions.

Ok, I have been working on a new project, but due to it's size and content, thing's haven't exactly been going fast. In fact, I have worked for quite a while, and even though the relative number of maps is low. (only about 200), I still need assistance because I cannot start anything UNTIL they are finished. Anyone who is willing to assist with maps, please let me know. NOTE: I will need a sample of your mapping skill, and there are a couple standards set for the mapping. EDIT: I will be adding a small demo of what the game has to offer. It is merely 7% of what the game truly has to offer.
