I can understand where you are coming from with the 'lack of posts' when it comes to your projects that you post. I have gotten little response with mine as well. Only Marked has said anything about my demo, and nobody has said or, i don't even think downloaded my new script demo. It was something I was hoping to get alot of feed back from. Everyone I sent it to in IM got blown away. But, don't let that discourage you. if anything, just think 'ok, well... then let's do something to REALLY blow them away.' Trust me, you'll be suprised at what you will make, rather than what you have made. As for proof, take a look at my Skill Level system compared to my new script. Hands down, I think my new one blew away anything i have done.

I'm not one to read long posts, but I love the title screen, and to me, the features and story make the game. I read the features, and if your story holds up to the features, It will be something worth seeing.

I can give encouragement. oh, and if my friend Arkbennett joins this site, don't listen to him about me being a slave driver. >.> really... I am not THAT mean... honest!

All I am going to say, is go to the Cafe, and look at his final post (he posted one last message). But all I request is you guys don't drag this out long. I don't want to scare people off cause of all of this. Sometimes you must do what you think is right, regardless of what others think. And you must always act in the best interest of what you believe in. This is why I believe Marked resigned. Now, I will leave this open for the next 36 hours after this post. After that, I am going to close each one, but move them, rather than delete them. Let it stand as a testament that we should not judge each other, but rather respect them. And if you can't do that, do whatever you think is in your best interest. I am uncertain if Marked will read this, and if he does, if he will get upset. Personally, I see no reason to drag this out and discuss why he left. He left cause he felt it was in everyone's best interest. And SCMike, don't let it bother you. It was his problem that he had to deal with. A disease he wishes he could remove, but cannot. So don't let it upset you that much. I'm pretty sure he would rather we carried on, and do what we do best: Help each other and make games. I would rather see us do those as well. Now, for the next 36 hours, you are allowed to talk about this if you wish. After that, I request we leave it in the past, and such past should be left in the past. Thanks, Leon

It has nothing to do with bisexuality. He is trying to steer away from the computer usage. He said he might be back, but there is a slim chance. But I assure you all, it was a personal choice, and had nothing to do with any member on the forum.

Ahh, the Cliche list... you know, my game does try to hit EVERY one of these, but in a new light. Curious? well, that is my little secret.

Mine comes from getting the first RPG Maker about.... 6 years ago for the PSX. From there, I learned and kept working toward a working game. Now that I can script and get what I want, I plan on finishing a game. Right now, i have three people inspirin' me to finish, My gal, and my two buddies Arkbennet and Wyz. I think Wyz joined this site, but went dormant... i dont know...

As for building a telescope more powerful than the hubble, that would be quite difficult given that the glass lense used in the Hubble is as big as it can get w/o sagging and breaking in on itself.

I found that the anti-lag script didnt do so well in my game. it made my 'proceed with movement' events freeze the game.

No, actually, My dad has a great Nvidia, and I have a lousy ATI Raedeon.

To let you know, larger the tileset, more the lag.

Hey, anybody need any tutorials on anyting? NOTE: If you ask for one on scripting, PLEASE be specific, and don't say 'everything'. There is no way to write a single tutorial to encompass it all.

My pc does not lag, believe it or not. It is actually faster on start-up than my dad's who has a 2GB RAM, 200GB hard drive, etc. I just know how to make mine work.
