  1. Hello. I'm using a side view battle system and I want to make the battlers themselves animate when they attack. I've created the character animating the attack. Then, I have the animation play on the target. However, when I use the animation on the target battler, the character is still on screen in his/her idle position. How can I hide the user character's image while the attacker animation is on screen? Does my question make any sense? I can give more details if needed. I am trying to put SephirothSpawn's Kingdom Hearts ABS into my Netplay enabled game on RMXP, but when I run Netplay, connect, and hit "New Game" I get an dialog box that says "no implicit conversion from nil to integer" but when I take out the KHABS script, there's no problems.   3. No, it's the one with the red armor and the brown horns. "Hero1" is the name of the monster image in the Monster folder of RM2K. If it has to be redone, can someone do that? I'm not good at making battlers. Thanks!
  4. What about creating two of each character, one with auto control on and one without, and the option menu just switches the character in the party? Would that work? Or is that too complex?
  5. I would like to use some of the monster graphics from the RTP of RM2K in my game that I'm making with RMXP. When I convert the graphics of said monsters from 2k to XP, they look very bad, pixelated and not smooth like the RTP of XP. Specifically the graphic called "Hero1" under the 2K RTP is the one I'm referring to. There's others, but at the moment, this is the important one. Can anyone fix the problem, convert it and make it look better? Or if someone is talented enough (unlike me) can you make a battler for RMXP that looks similar to the "Hero1" graphic from the 2K RTP? Thanks so much.
  6. I'm looking for three scripts, and I hope someone can help me with them. First: Options Menu I'd like to have a script that adds an "Options" menu so the user can select the volume of the music and SFX, but more importantly, an option for auto or manual control of the allied characters. Which brings us to... Second: Auto Ally Control Option I would like an option that would allow the user to pick if the allied characters are automatically controlled, or manually. The user would always be in control of the character in slot 1, but 2, 3, and 4 can be set to auto or manual with these scripts. Is any of this possible? Third: A Journal If possible, I'd like a script that can be accessed that will show the events that have happened in the game similar to the way Jiminy's Journal works in the Kingdom Hearts series? It would be easier for the users to understand the game with it, I think. Thanks!
  7. I wanted to throw this question out there. I'm making a new game and I'm thinking about using a Side-View Battle System in RMXP. What is the best script I can use that's easy to use, flexible, and works without bugs? Thanks.
  8. Question: How do I remove the ring script? I just want the standard straight line, bar version of the menu without the ring like it was in the original CT game. Thanks.
