  1. Project Organizer V2 - 1.0

    Project Organizer V2 - 1.0
    By Evil Cabbage
After a countless number of times that I've wanted to throw my computer out the window, I have finally finished the first "V2" RMXP Utility - Project Organizer V2. The interface has been condensed so that everything is on one screen and many new features have been added, along with the new graphical style which I will be using in all my new programs.
    Features

Progress and Developer Log Systems: Every project which is displayed in Project Organizer will now have it's own "% complete bar" and developer log associated with it. When you choose to edit a project through Project Organizer, it will also launch a "Developer Log" application which will be displayed in the tray. Once you have finished using RMXP, clicking on the tray icon will allow you to record what you have achieved that session in the Developer Log and will also allow you to adjust the % complete for story, graphics, audio, mapping, scripts and the database. Once you have selected a project, you can easily view it's log by clicking on the appropriate button on the side. The idea of this system is for you to be able to use to calculate how much work you are getting done, and from there being able to set yourself realistic goals as to the completion of certain aspects of your project. Project Packaging: After selecting a project, you can pack it into an extractor which you can customize. Open and test play your projects on the fly. Quickly perform various cleanup operations, such as restoring the database, deleting save files, adding the RGSS dlls and changing titles Coming in a future update:The ability to install a battle system which is comprised of a large number of scripts through the program (i.e GuibiDs TBS, XAS ABS, etc). The reason that this is not in the program now is because I have yet to acquire permission from script authors to allow me to use their scripts.

  2. RMXP Pool (Version 2 Beta 2)

(Please note that the screenshot shown is of beta v0.1.0.0, the current version is v1)

For the past month, I have been developing a program called RMXP Pool.

    Concept:
Basically, it works like this. Have you ever tried to find RMXP resources and spent hours browsing through forums and then finding a broken download link? And then, the author doesn't leave terms and conditions of use? (I certainly have)
Well the idea of this program is to make browsing and downloading RMXP resources much much easier for everyone.

What do you do with it?
Basically, you start by selecting the type of resource that you are looking for (animations, charsets, scripts, music, etc). Once you do this, you are shown a list of available resources in that category. You can quickly view original forum threads about the resource, view screenshots or download the resource. When you click "Download this Item" a dialog pops up with the terms of use that the author has specified. If you agree to the author's terms then the resource that you chose is downloaded quickly and DIRECTLY (no internet pages involved) to the following directory: C:\ My RMXP Pool Downloads.

To sum it up, it's like Scrive, but for all types of RMXP resources.

  4. Batch Image Flipper

This was an app I made on request for Broken Messiah. What it does is it flips all the images in an input directory horizontally and saves the edits to an output directory. Thanks to Broken Messiah for requesting this.

  5. Project Organiser

Okay, here we go again with another app. This program allows you to easily manage your RMXP Projects. The program alloows you to edit and play your projects from one interface. You can also change a game's title, refresh the database and scripts in a project, delete unwanted save files and copy the RGSS dlls into a selected project.

  6. Character Planner

What this program does is it allows you to plan out the characters for your game and store the characters you make in a database, which you can refer to later. This program is similar to my other planning program called Storyline Planner.

  7. Character Name Generator

This is a simple program that I made to generate names for characters. I know it's not as good as other name generators, but I thought I would give it a go. Also, besides names, you can also generate superhero and company names.

  8. Windowskin Maker

Basically, it allows you to put together an RMXP windowskin graphic based on image files that you select. These files are automatically resized for you and you can then export your windowskin by with only a couple of mouse clicks.

  9. Storyline Planner

Storyline Planner allows you to easily create and manage a storyline for an RPG (role playing game). Your game's timeline is split into "plot points". For each plot point, you can create a 5-10 word summary of what happens in the plot point (to make skimming through the gist of your storyline easier) and you can also add a long description to the plot point which describes everything that transpires in the plot point. Once you have created all your plot points, you can then use the Storyline Planner project for reference when you actually go to make your game.
