Last Christmas, my brother's girlfriend said that she didn't like plum pudding - guess what her reason was: I don't like plums! If you don't get it, plum pudding doesn't have plums in it, it may have in the olden days and some people still may have plums in their plum puddings but...(shakes head and sighs)

Well it seems that i have a lot of work to do now...but i'll wait till 2moz cos its a 41 degree day - Celcius!

I got RPG Maker Xp about 2 months ago and i've gotten to know it pretty well but...SCRIPTING! I have no-idea how to script and my request is a full tutorial for scripting! Or at least what you may know anyway! :lol: I don't need it this very minute so if someone is going to actually attempt it, take your time and please explain it clearly! Thanx ryanrulz_11

Hi guys + girls, just browsin through and saw that this section hasn't been used so...now it is..ok..um...(I'm feeling really stupid right now :lol: ) Hopefully you know the TV show "The Mole" I know that there is a the mole series in Australia which isn't on for the moment but i was wandering whether there was like a US version or UK version, etc. I really liked the Mole. For those who have absolutley no idea what i'm talking about, i'll tell yas: The game starts of with about 11 contestants - yes, its reality tv! - and one of those 11 contestants is the mole. The mole's job is to sabatage the other 10 contestants from winning money from set up challenges by the host and the crew. Every night, each contestant has to take a quiz to see if they know who the mole is. The person who knows the least amount about the mole is eliminated. the process goes for about 8 - 10 days under challenging circumstances. The final show is when there are only 3 contestants left - one of them is the mole. They take their last quiz. the 2 contestants who aren't the mole have to succeed in knowing who the mole is and see who knows more about the mole than the other contestant. If you succeed, you win like $250,000. That's the gist of it - soz for the bad explanation if so. Well then, was there another regional "The Mole" series? Or something like it?

1/ How do you take screenshots? 2/How do you put them onto the tutorial? They might be stupid questions but i need the answers, but i'm not in too much of a rush!

Just before i start, i would like to say that this is my first tutorial so i would seriously doubt that it would be as good as others which may be posted on this site. I'm going to attemp to explain the functions of switches for noobs - (like myself - LMAO) - who have absolutely no idea what they are and what to do with them. Firstly: Switches are vital to an RPG. By successfully completing something, you can activate a switch to make a previous event change. Let's just say that you are brought to an inn. There are 2 guys there - lets call them Boba and Fet. If you talk to Boba, he always tells you "What are you looking at?" and whatever you do, he will always say that. What you are aiming for is: 2/ If you were to talk to Fet, it will activate a switch to make Boba say something different. So enough with the examples, lets get on with the technical stuff 3/I will still use the example of Boba and Fet so you can get a clearer picture of it. Go to your event for Fet where it shows the message: Where should we go? (for example) in the big white section to the right of the screen. Underneath the message line, there will be another "<>" symbol. Douvle click on that line there. 4/ Another pop-up will show. At the top of that screen, you will see 1, 2 and 3. Click on 1 if it already isn't on it. Then click on "Switch Operation" 5/In the specific switch section, click on the drop-down arrow. Another screen will show up. 6/If it is your first switch selection, it should already be highlighted on 001 on the right hand side of the screen. At the Bottom right of that screen, it shows the "Name" section. Give your event a quick name like: Make Boba talk! Click on ok once you've done that, then click on ok again on the other screen. Now in your event planner, it will have your event highlighted in red. Click on Apply and then click on ok. 7/ Now it's back to Boba. Go to the event planner for Boba. At the top of the screen, you will see: New Page. Click on it. You are now on Page 2. (Right under the New Page button, you can see what page you are on!) At the top right corner of the event planner, you should see the preconditions section. Click on the white box next to the top "Switch" Once you've done that, click on the dropdown arrow. There, you will see the event which you created on Fet. Click on that event and click on "ok". Now remember! You have to put in the same graphic in which you had in your first page(unless you extremely want to change it under certain cercumstances!) 8/Now, still in Page 2, Go to the big white section again. Create any event which you want to do. 9/ Click on Apply and then click on ok. 10/So there you have it! If you keep on talking to Boba for starters, he will always say: What are you looking at?] but when you talk to Fet and then talk to Boba, it changes. 11/With that example, you could practically do anything, say if you couldn't access a certain part of the game until you completed something, you can then access that part. BTW: Sorry if i didn't explain everything very well if you thought that way but it was my first try. And i'm also very sorry that there aren't any pics, although it would have been better - Don't know how to :D !!!!!!! Ummm...Dragon Ball Z and GT are awesome for their imaginative ability, just like how in Samurai X - It's not like a person can move that fast and stay in the air for five minutes in one single jump! Most TV shows are escapes from reality which brings out the human imaginative feature. I do get your point though - it is repetative - but i still like it. :D
