Okay, calm down. You do know the real meaning behind criticism, correct? You made this thread asking us what we thought, once we pointed something out, you talked down to us, which is mean. I shall point out how you were being rude, I didn't want to, but seeing as you see nothing wrong with what you said: Now, as people already pointed out, the leg that is missing, should be added. That sword isn't really big enough to cover his leg, especially from an artistic perspective. You would see a little bit of his leg even if that was true. The back of his leg, the part above his foot, for instance, should be shown. Also, the arm holding the sword, pieces of it is cut off on the side. Also, the line running through the sword isn't lined up correctly...And finally, the start of the handle (behind his hand) is a little demented, its not exactly "attached" to the rest of the handle. (Also, the sword looks exactly like Cloud's sword) Other than that, its good. I like the horns :)

Ah, okay. I wasn't sure, seeing as it was technically tutorial oriented. lol Some of the sites at HB is in Japanese, but the hair one is especially useful, although I think that one applies to taller styled spriting.. Thanks for moving, Kiriashi! :D

Yup, was me :P I saw the thread and was like "Have to comment, I love this style!" :P How much do you increase the size to get the ones you have? 100%, or 200%?

I do like that style, but as a Classical gamer, I wouldn't dare touch that kind of style, at least not yet. I would like to start on easy and work up to Difficult. I have a lot of time free, especially at night. One day, I hope to create a RTP out of my style and try to offer up characters as well, to make a difference between future created games. It would help people, which I would be glad to do. :) Plus, it would be pretty neat to build a game out of my own made tilesets and stuff lol

I didn't know where to place this, as it was a request, but I wasn't sure if it would go in the "Resource Request" place, so I just thought I'd place it here, to be safe. I'm terrible at spriting, okay, well, I don't know that, I think it though. I can't honestly judge myself, I always think its bad. lol So, I was wondering, does anyone know where I can find spriting tutorials? Or maybe a spriting teacher? I really would love to sprite, seeing as I have a few custom graphics needed for my game, which is important. Now, Musical made this awesome character template I could use for my second side project (Or maybe both? I love them, seeing as it reminds of the Nes and Snes) and I would need to know how to sprite to make my own characters. I know spriting takes time and its not something you can just pick up and be a master at, but I would really like to learn. Well, that's all! Really? Impossible lies from Microsoft! My family has bought three Xbox 360s so far. New shippments? Have they've come or not? No, I still have the red ring of death one after another and all my family did was touch them while they were on! :c My segadreamcast and N64 has lasted longer than those stupid systems. I spilt milk, thrown, dropped and have done multiple things to the N64 and it hasn't broken yet. Yet the Xbox can't hold up to anything... :c

I agree, the shading stands out a bit too much, but everything looks great! Though, the shield looks just a little bit awkward. Maybe if you bent it to look like it is pointing more to the angled back right....? Is she an amazon? :D

Update! A sprite for the main character, Edgar, has been made! It was made by "Shiroiyuki", a person I will love forever ^.^ Now, just the girl and *maybe the guy needs to be done, and almost all resources have been completed! Well, not music, but I think I'll just use generator music or something, since I have no music maker >.> Here is picture of him! *Sprite increased for better view* Hopefully, I will be able to move on and bring bigger updates!
