matheusco 0 Report post Posted September 26, 2013 Hi people, I know I've recently entered the Forum, so probably it's too soon to try to recruit someone. But I have the feel this idea can become something great. Anyone here already played Tibia. If not, let me explain. Tibia is an online RPG like that we play with our friends with someone telling the stories, but online. You talk with the NPCs and they answer when you say a keyword, sometimes you need to do something before they can answer you, or hold an item. But there are too many problems that I know I can do better, much better. I will post the story after, but it's basically a world that all races are in war. Why? Territory! My idea is that even a tiny action of each players to have its own consequences. New cities updates would come when the players could kill all the orcs in their village, so in a update we would 'transform' the orc village in a village for humans. There will be no "level", level isn't logic in anyway... why killing a type of monster make you good in killing dragons? Ok, it raiises your combat skill, but not enough to kill a dragon alone. In order to kill a dragon alone you must kill dozens with a group. That's the idea of my game. A true RPG. The story itself doesn't exist, the players will do the story. They wil be the story. There is a powerful sword guarded by a dragon? So the one who get it will be the only owner, no respawn for it. I want something that unite the RPG players, that you can't kill an horde of dragons alone, neither kill one without heavy equipment. Hope anyone want to join me. Oh, and I'm Brasilian, so if there's anyone here you can talk with me in portuguese. Or anyone who knows portuguese too.
Marked 197 Report post Posted September 26, 2013 Welcome to RMU btw :) I'd just like to direct your attention to this little notice (in the forum description); Actually, I should change the above to "Early in Development or Established Games". So if you could do that it would be great and also help your chances of recruitment

Marked 197 Report post Posted September 26, 2013 No problem :) It's basically a rule to help recruiters get more interest in their projects.
