[Solved!] Need help with changing party's stats in battle

I was able to figure out how to have party members have their own specific name for their SP.

 

One solve is from Fomar0153 and another is from GubiD. Thank you, everyone, for your help.

you could use a common event, which activates when a certain key is pressed

and then shows choices to turn subtitles ON/OFF.

unless you want if to be an actual menu? that requires a script.

Thank you for the help, Metaclaw. I would prefer an actual menu that can turn subtitles on and off, but at this rate, I'll settle with an item and common events that does this.

I know it is possible, but you'll need to edit the battle script, it shouldn't be too hard. If i have the time i'll take a look and see what I can do.
