To hell with inconsiderate fools.

Recommended Posts

You know, people need to get their heads out of their asses, and out of their hormones and grow the fuck up. Have you ever looked around on these other sites? Or posted games on these other sites? It's bullshit, and futile. the ONLY time your game gets played is if it falls under three categories:

  • You are on the staff or a popular, spazzy person
  • You are so heavy into anime, you know more characters than 99% of Japan, and to top it off, draw more pictures in anime than you write sentences.
  • You are a girl who says provocative things or has a provocative picture

Other than that, it is hit and miss. Fuck them all. I'm sick of this shit. And you know what really gets to me? When these dumbasses who are 13-14 years old think they know everything. For reference, I site this thread. What the hell? He has 2 options: Tell her how he feels, and tread carefully with what he says, or just stay shut the hell up and wonder what could have been. In either situation, he should respect the fact that SHE is in a relationship, and shouldn't interfere.

Far as I'm concerned, fuck all the idiots who think either with their shit or with their gonads. I'm sick of it all.

Well then I suggest you say provactive things and get a provactive picture Leon :D.

As far as the problem with people not wanting to play your game. Same shit happens to me all the time with my music. People unless their your friends don't wanna listen.

Hell, it isn't just my game I'm bitching about. Go check the project portions of all the sites. You'll see that 99% of all projects go ignored, and people give up. Then fuckin morons ask the question 'WHy are there so few completed projects?' OPEN YOUR DAMN EYES! There aren't any because people don't get the support they need for inspiration! I'm about ready to say RmXP was a waste of time.

Once again I get the same problem all the time. No one really wants to help they just go you suck, that's horrible, it's no good. Well really then tell me what I can do. No one wants to help though I've had a few people go this is what you need to do and I appreciate the few of them. But I'm not quitting anytime soon. I'ma keep going so one day I can go "Look At Me Now, I Am What You Thought I Would Never Be."

You won't get anyone looking at anything, trust me. I've busted ass for 6 months, making a project that I had 3 strangers rate on average a 9/10 in PM, (My beta-testers), but nobody will play it anyway. It's a futile effort. I see no reason to break my back for assholes who don't give a damn. People are too fuckin' wrapped up in drama. And what they don't realize is in less than a year, THE DRAMA IS GONE! THere is no reason to be 'oh no! my girlfrined left me! what WILL i do?!'. You know what you do? move on and keep breathing.

Complety true for most cases. But then don't do it for everyone else. Do it for yourself to say you accomplished something. Do it for your friends that do care.

I've quit caring about it. What is the point of a game nobody will play? That is like a song that nobody will hear, or a story nobody will read: pointless.

But yet people still write all the time, and people still make music all the time. Like me, like I mentioned earlier no one wants to listen to me unless their a friend but I still make music for them and me.

Sometimes people play games without replying back to the topic. I think that users on RMXP Unlimited have downloaded your project too. I've played your game and it even inspired me to start a project again. Sometimes it feels like a waste of time, but if you've inspired at least one person you can say that it isnt, and you shouldn't give up.

I cannot see the topic you posted on that forum because I don't have an account. There can be a lot of young members(a lot mature though) who make some pretty bad posts. Older ones too.

"Ya just can't let go."

I'm with Marked, when I play your game, you make me want to try making a game to top yours.

But, I'm still just in the planning stages. As far as people playing your games, you ever here of RPG Maker Magazine? Why don't you post your game on their forum.

You might make the magazine. You should get the gratification and support you need to continue on with the game.

Leon

there was time when I use to think like you and even feel like you.

What I have learned is that this world survives on duality, with good comes bad, with right comes wrong, with success comes failure.

either accept both or do not care for either. The bigger the happiness the bigger is the pain attached with it. Thats the way world works and there is now way out of it. We feel dejected, depressed and stressed because we readily accept the happiness that comes to us but not the pain attached with that happiness.

I design graphics for games, thats my profession, but I create my own game to satisfy my own passion, and not really bother whether it will sell or not, whether people will play or not.

Being a hardcore gamer myself, I will play my own game as a gamer. If I enjoy it chances are few people in this world will enjoy it too.

Thats enough for a game to get famous with proper marketing, but that does not mean it will bring money. They are two different things.

So somebody buys your game is not actually related to its success or failure.

Show me your game, I will give you blunt criticism to improve upon it if at all required.

Give me as exe because I do not have xp.

remember its the journey and hard work that is important and not the final destination - at the finish all our destinations end 2 feet below the ground or on burning pyres. :)
