The Next Paladin

The Next Paladin focuses in the creation of a new religion.

The Head Cleric of Asteria, Doren, gets accused of assassination by a random civilian (He wasn't an assassin), and is forced to exile from town, leaving his Head Cleric carreer behind. Then, he looks for a new place to live. Ajina, a port/guild town after the Asteronica Forest, is the first place Doren finds. There, he starts doing quests to remake his life -- then, he makes his own guild. After that, his own town...

Here is a short description about one of the main objects in this game: The Holy Paladin Pearl.

Quoted from a book in the game:

"The Holy Paladin Pearl hasn't proof of existance, but they say it was the source of power of the first Paladin there ever was.

Even tho the religion of Couplism doesn't believe in Paladins, the tale is preserved in all religions."

I won't give you the spoiler about the end of the story, but be alert for anything said in the game!

For who wants to understand other minimal details:

Couplism is the religion that I made for this game (ROFL) that believes that every aspect in the world was made out of 2 different gods. For example, Love was made by Athryuna and Estheren (Athryuna is the one who loves and got loved, and Estheren is the one who was loved and got to love)

The game is made out of 3 'Arcs' or seasons (Maybe it will grow up to 4 if the story gets extended). The first arc/season happens from "Doren's Exile" to "The Trustful Follower". This Arc happens mostly at Ajina Town, but it has the presence of Doren's guild already. In this arc, Doren does an Everest of quests...

The second arc/season happens from "Childhood" to a chapter which hasn't been named yet.

This Arc mostly involves Gus, Doren's son, in the story. The gameplay will be sort of limited, since the characters you'll mostly use on this arc are Gus and Shad... but don't worry, Doren will be playable in some parts too... So, no need to miss your loved hero, guys. Also, in this arc, Doren's kingdom is built.

The last, third arc/season's chapters haven't been named... But this arc doesn't end.

This arc is focused at the war between Asteria and Doren's kingdom. Not such a big war... but yeah. This is probably the last arc, but it is unlimited since the behind-the-scenes gameplay...

Quest System probably made by Larynni

[Not-decided] Recruiting System

Actor Customization (By Synthesize)

25+ Playable characters with different fighting styles/uses

Unlimited Gameplay Time! After finishing the game's storyline, you can go behind the scenes of the game and see extra events in certain cutscenes which you weren't able to move or anything else!

.... And much more!

Just to tell you this project really exists. o_0

All are for Asteronica Forest.

Now, to start with the recruiting!

Here is what I need:

A town EXTERIOR and INTERIOR mapper (Yesh, I stink in town mapping.)

A scripter (That can make BSes too! TNP will consist of multiple battle systems, some which need to be easily configured, some that need to be hardly configured, and some that need to be made.)

A .midi or .MP3 composer

A not-at-my-level cutscene maker ~ taken

To apply:

Town exterior and interior mapper: Make a map with two or three houses, and then do their interiors.

Scripter: Show me anything you've done before with scripts (I'm open for these who are starting scripters too, so if you haven't done anything huge before, I can still recruit you...)

A .midi or .MP3 composer: Make anything sound-related except voice acting. It can be SE, BGS, ME or BGM, as long as if it is your work.

A not-at-my-level cutscene maker: Make a random cutscene with at least 1 minute of duration.

Sounds pretty easy to apply, eh?

TO APPLY: PM me or add me on MSN: gugusabido@hotmail.com

NOTE: You won't get paid at all... but it would be a good experience, I think.
