Pokemon Game?

Started on creating Johto, and it is coming along great! ill upload soon.

I made a pokemon game a while back using rtp monsters lol

I did it all with eventing,too.

Basicly,just had an item with a "captured" state attached,an animation for the ball going towards the monster.

There were four states for "captured".One for each type of pokeball item.

My problem was catching more than one required me to make a ton of the same monster.

Plus they used equipment,so they were more like Digimon lol

Yeah, this is done with a lot of scripting, and a lot of editing of txt files, believe it or not. It's fun so far, and I'm enjoying making it. Just need a little help, and I could really get it working.

As a note, I have realized that I uploaded the wrong file. I have re-uploaded the Pokemon game, and it has the entire region of Kanto, save for some of the caves and such (although, the maps that are there are not 100% complete, so they may have glitches...the most common being incorrect map connections, or black borders around maps, all of which will be fixed at some point).

Also check out my Pokémon Johto project! If possible I will incorporate it into Emily's game ( if she allows me to )

Depends on how far my game goes...it could be possible I will make the player go through both Johto and Kanto to get to the Elite Four, but I'm not sure yet. If I need Johto, I'll definitely see about acquiring your maps ^^

I played an Epic one like that.

It was on RM2k, wonder if it was yours?

I want to make Johto as well as it seems it's not being worked on anymore, but for the story i would need Kanto too.

I've been in the same situation, where my pokemon game went out because of the lack of help, although my full time help cant be given, i can offer you the project file and some other stuff from my computer (things like all the trainers from the old GB pokemons that were recolored by me ((since they didnt have color in the old GB)) lol and other things too.)

 

my game had the same idea as yours, make it possible to catch all pokemon, and even visit all the towns ever seen in pokemon, along with a new set, with new pokemon, with hybrid pokemon due to genetic splicing xD.

 

Please just say the word and i'll package it up after the next halftime show i perform at =3
