Grandor 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2007 Some of the reasons I don't like IE is because it's slower and it messes up tables in the old skool HTML, and certain other bugs it has that have gone uncorrected. Firefox always makes sure to update and fix any bugs quickly and efficiently.
EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted March 1, 2007 agreed, Firefox updates once a week (or so it seems like) with updates...IE updates once a year...or something like that...I mean...they're on, what...IE 7? Firefox is on 1.10.2 or something like that...and the number is still rising...

EmilyAnnCoons 7 Report post Posted April 29, 2007 The main problem with Firefox, is no one designs anything for it...like...a lot of flash games require IE7...which annoys me...but that's only some of them, though...not all do that...

Problem solved.
Marked 197 Report post Posted May 19, 2007 The main problem with Firefox, is no one designs anything for it...like...a lot of flash games require IE7...which annoys me...but that's only some of them, though...not all do that... Do you mean that things are designed for IE, rather than firefox? So far, I haven't come across anything that firefox is not compatible with. IE is such a pain, I have to change the menus because half of them wont show up in IE.
vladcalin 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 I'm also using Mozilla Firefox. It's the best browser. First time i used Internet Explorer, but it has too much pop-ups and it gave me a lot of errors.

I have have seen several things like this I think Maple Story when I went to try it once requires you to open it in IE. But then Firefox also has a plug-in for it that you can open a page in it as if FF was IE. Pretty nifty.

Marked 197 Report post Posted June 15, 2008 Actually it is the fault of that website's creator. It has nothing to do with Firefox. I too could make a website for IE only. It's more of a trick than a flaw of Firefox. A web designer has to make a site compatible with all popular browsers.
Wyzrd 12 Report post Posted June 16, 2008 I was about to say the same as what Marked just said. It's not Firefox's fault at all. It's the designer. Sorta like your Outreach browser when I said the window was really small because I have a high resolution. You have to remember, different users, different computers, different settings. Also, as far as IE goes, it's not even installed on my pc. :/
Spence607 1 Report post Posted November 13, 2008 Firefox rules, no doubt the best web browser out there. Addons like Adblock Plus and NoScript are nice to have, the themes are rather sweet also. I use IE from time to time, but not very often.
Gamer3241 0 Report post Posted December 16, 2008 I tend to use IE tabs on FF but the main prob for me with IE is that well for me IE7 (or is it 8) tends the randomly crash often so that kinda annoys me eheh
