Game Completely Messed!

I have no clue why, but for some reason when I add custom pictures to the folders the game will not display them anymore. For example I have a picture of my character, when he talks. It does no longer work, same with any tile sets I add, they do not show up in game. Any suggestions?

Are you putting the pictures into the right area? (Tilesets go into Graphics/Tilesets ect.)

If not, then I'm almost clueless. :mellow:

Yep. Same here man, just going to have to restart the whole game. I can't seem to solve the problem, and I really don't feel like trying for hours, only solution.

I'm not sure about pictures, but as for the Tileset, after importing it to the game, go to Database, Tileset, increase the max tilesets by one, then chose the Tileset graphic to the one you imported. The rest is how you modify it for the Tileset (I'm clueless as to what everything does, but... your going to need better help then me. :mellow:

I said almost. Lets see... I'm not sure about pictures, but as for the Tileset, after importing it to the game, go to Database, Tileset, increase the max tilesets by one, then chose the Tileset graphic to the one you imported. I've figured out the tile set, but on the starting map I still can't display a picture with an event. That's the only map it won't work on.

Thanks for the help, but out of frustration I already deleted the game. Everything seems to be working fine now. Something must have been messed.

1. Is there excess white one you picture?

 

2. JPEG or PNG formats are both good. Sometimes you have to write the extension name (.PNG .GIF .JPEG) after the name of your pic to change the extension.

 

3. Import the file into the correct folder, and other folders as well (just in case your RPG Maker XP is screwed up :P)

 

4. For tilesets, you can't just import them into the the resource folder, you have to make a new tile-set in your database.

 

5. Re-install the naked pi-- RPG Maker XP on your computer.

 

6. Give me a toasted subway BLT with cucumbers, olive oil and vinegar, and a little bit of ranch.

Nah, there is nothing wrong with the picture. It has the right extension, I don't hide any extensions. It was just not working on the beginning map, but no problem now, the game no longer exists.
