[XP]Yu-Gi-Oh TCG (RMXP Style)

Basically, it's exactly what it sounds like. There are 4 Teams: Graphics Team, Scripting Team, Card Team, and Map Team

 

Graphics Team:

You guys are supposed to make the cards the Card Team give you into smaller form, where they can be played in a field like system. You guys also need to create character sprites and animations for battles, such as physical attacks, magical attacks, special attacks, etc.

 

Scripting Team:

You guys need to develop the unique side battle system, which can allow for quick play cards of both magic and trap, and include counter attacks of the sorts. Also needs to allow for monster effects to take place, magic spells to alter cards, and trap cards to alter anything else.

 

Card Team: (closed for new applicants)

You guys will make the cards. I'm shooting for at least 300 cards, or 100 per person. Cards can be anything at all, but must be realistic. No super cards, unless they have major drawbacks.

 

Mapping Team:

I need you guys to create the map layouts for dueling areas, and other misc. sections.

 

I'll have more info, such as a plot later on, this is a rushed post.

A Yu-Gi-Oh RMXP game? I'm in :) I'm pretty good at making human sprites, and I'm ok with some maps. Wait, are we allowed to only have one job?

Yeah, 100 cards on that card maker. Use custom pictures if you can, and please try not to use real life pictures.

so just to clarify when you say custom it means i can go onto google images and just take some pictures off there right?

EDIT: you need to provide proper credit so any random pic off of google wont work.

Yeah, I've made my own pictures in photoshop, so don't hesitate to do that.

 

I'm focusing on mainly magic and trap cards.
