Rate my title screen, please.

I normally dont like doing polls or crap like that, but this one I am trying to perfect. Can you please tell me your HONEST opinion on this title screen? I what true blue critisizm and honest votes. I won't get mad in the least.

Not bad. Those are Fire, Water, Wind, Lightning (or Thunder as it's normally called), and Earth Spheres right? The words are a bit to dark on the top and bottom and I couldn't figure out the name, so I looked at the name in the top left of the picture. The Title commants are in an interesting place inatead of the usual location, and the Credits option is unique. But the picture is kind of bland, the Spheres are nice, but maybe have like a big plantet in the Background, or two dark, evil glaring eyes. But that's me. I voted for 10.

Hmmmm, this may not be the best place to ask such an opinion.

 

The main problems are the dark, boring background, but most of all, like Nisage, I couldn't read the name of the game because of the colour. Even with those problems rectified I'd give it a 7, because it's pretty nice with the orbs, but that's all it is.

 

For reference, something I'd likely give a 9 to would be the Ocarina of Time File Select Screen. It's fairly simple, and easy to look at, but it also shows a fair amount of information about the file to let you quickly gauge your process. Music is also a part of it, but as yours is a picture with no music yet I couldn't add or subtract points for that.

i think its really good but since you want a critique...

 

i think the orb in the front (air?) seems cut off and it looks out of place compared to the other orbs, it's also bigger so it stands out more.

 

And as a minor detail the lightning around the lightning orb is cut off in a square formation and its pretty easily visible... (i think)

Thanks for everyone's critique. I do appreciate it. I see some aren't enthused, but it is the best I could get whipped up in teh last two days. I just wanted to see how it'd look.

Looks nice except the one on the top. It looks like its apart of the planet. Unless that's what you wanted.

I like it (the new one I mean), looks pretty good. Kinda reminds me of the old SNES RPG's with a nice picture. I'd give it a 9, and pending the choice of music, it'd possibly be a 10. The only real thing I have to say as far as critique goes is that the lightning sphere looks a little off at first glance, almost like it was squared out. But that could just be the planet behind it. Either way, nifty looking.
