Can you be more clear? When something fails to load then there is nothing you can do. Unless you have backups then you would have to start your project all over. 0 Nisage 31 Report post Posted September 6, 2009 Probably one of the games RPGXP Data files might be corrupted, in the Data folder. I believe someone mentioned that if you're game gets corrupted, you just copy the Data files into a new game, but one at a time. What I meant to say is that I uninstalled the original RMXP...that had this same error, installed the Postality Knights edition, didn't like it, reinstalled the original version and still got this error. 0 Nisage 31 Report post Posted September 6, 2009 Not Vista. I tried RMXP on a Vista, it took a while to get it to work. I think you have to right-click RMXP and have it set to "run as admin". 0 Polraudio 122 Report post Posted September 6, 2009 Right click on RMXP's .exe file or shortcut -> Properties -> Compatibility -> Check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Chose Windows XP (Service Pack 2). And run as administrator. Try that and see if it works. That does not make any sense. Why would someone uninstalled a legal version and installed an illegal version? Yes it dont. Since the legal didn't worked, he tried the illegal hoping it would work. But since that didin't work and not many (or anyone) would help someone with the illegal version, he re-installed the legal. Go through you recycling bin and you should be able to find it. Also, for Vista users, You have to run the program in compatibility for "Windows Xp, Service Pack 2" Edit: I was having the same problem, but I just fixed it. Ensure that you have the "Game" (Orange circle thing) application the same folder as the one that has the Data, Graphics, Game notepad file, and the RPGXP Project file. Are you SURE you uninstalled it, because overwriting it with the legit version would totally f- it up garuanteed. Delete it, download the legit version from C-Net (That one works for me.) install it and it should work. Support enterbrain by buying its makers.
