Obsession 3 Report post Posted November 21, 2009 Anyone been there yet? Its an epic MMO treat, with a high caliber setting and some nifty graphics to boot. (Please keep this thread clean, W.O.W fans) As a personal experiance, I began playing it as a recommendation from a friend of mine. He wouldn't stop banging on about it, and despite my mediocre insight on all MMO's i dared give this one a try, despite the chaotic 9gb + quantity it ate up on my machine. One issue I had with this, is that i was unsure my pc could handle it. I tried it on the lowest settings, and pushed it up, and gratefully on higher settings it has next to none lag. I love the setting and theme the game provides, as a touchy as i am with layouts. I won't go into details, as I like people to choose to discover themselves, but I really enjoyed the layout and the things avialable for me to do.
Tomo2000 60 Report post Posted November 22, 2009 Well, I seem to have a hatred for MMO's that seem to have ads on every 2nd website you come across; especially Ebony. I have seen so many ads for that stupid game I nearly kicked my monitor, seriously. I've seen a few ads for Aion and, to tell you the truth, I don't like the looks of it. I have no friends who play it, probally for the same reason, so I wouldn't have anybody following me around talking about it. I like MMO's that arn't advertised. I'm not sure why, but with a game like Star Sonate (a space MMO), it has no advertisement and it is pretty fun. In my oppinion, most ads ruin the game. Games with ads, such as Adventurequest, Dragonfable, Mechquest, etc., that show actual gameplay are the kind of ads I like. If it shows you something cool, hard-to-get but not too hard-to-get items and gameplay then it makes a good ad.
