Photoshop CS4 Tut

After months and months, I finally managed to get a pretty good (used) Photoshop CS4. I'm excellent at making render, I even have render shops open.

 

But people keep saying it would be easier to make renders using Photoshop and I'm sure they are right, but I wanna learn how to make signatures and what each button in Photoshop CS4 does.

 

So I'm wondering if anyone have really, really good tutorials for me to read and practice with. I don't only wanna make renders, but I wanna make signatures and avatars as well ^^

Good place to go for high resolution images to mess with is planet renders.

 

Try looking up some C4D's or effects (Fire, ice, leaves) place it on top of your graphic and play around with the layer properties, you get some good effects from that.

 

DeviantART i find has some nice CS4 tutorials packed with templates, but the best tutorial is yourself as tutor :3 Generally discovering the tools and methods yourself will find what works best for you.

Are there tuts for the basic usage of the program? Like it tells you what each thing does and how ti properly use it? :P

I find that messing around with all the buttons and just seeing what they do is the best way to learn it. Other than that I can't really help because I don't use photoshop. Anyways, you could always google 'photoshop tutorials'.

Tried. Most of them are about adding brushes or making signatures. :<
