Sprites as facesets

Question

I dont know where to ask this,so I'll ask in this place...(Though I'm new to this site, you guys have helped me countless times already!!!Thank you! :D )

I increase the sprite's resolution size, copy the first one and paste it as a new .PNG file. When I use the lone sprite as a faceset(I use Ccoa's UMS :) ) there's some kinda white lines around it...I try to remove the white regions by giving the background a black background...BUT the sprite's still messed up with a white outline...(I use GIMP editor)...

Can anybody help me out here?IS there a better way to do this?

I've tried Face maker...but those faces have white dots as well :(

Thanks in advance!

White dots= Wrong resizing.

You can't divide 100 by 3, and you can't divide 1 pixel by 3, which is the answer. So, if you resize your sprites you MUST resize them 2 times bigger.
