Enigma 10 Report post Posted November 17, 2010 it varies based on the day and the task I spend about 1 day to 1 week on spriting a single character ( still haven't figure how to do abs sprites yet) It takes me a long while to map, because I can't think of anything to map Story's are definetly my strong suit as I can spend little time on them get alot of it Events take a day to plan and a day to trouble shoot and I mainly work on games on wednesday(early dismissal) or the weekends unless im doing graphics
CrimsonInferno 35 Report post Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) Well, I work on my slowly, I got lots of school, essays, language and things like that. But I've picked up my project again by working on my sprites for my game. Once I have the girl finished, I'll start ripping graphics for the FF6 project I have. So about, three-four hours maybe a little more a week......? I got a lot of things to do T.T Edited November 17, 2010 by CrimsonInferno
Ecowolfsteen 14 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 Hmm, it varies on what's going on. Sometimes I work on it for an hour a day. But, I tend to get lazy and blow things off like that, so it takes a while. I usually do 2 hours per week, but I need to change that. Hopefully, I can work hard this weekend. Nisage 31 Report post Posted November 18, 2010 (edited) Almost the same as Polraudio. I'm trying to work on my projects whenever I get/have time, but I lost some motivation for it. But I'm still working on it hoping to get motivated again (which I did for a while). So almost 2 to 3 hours, give or take how much college work I have to do. nanou-gr 5 Report post Posted November 20, 2010 well, greek universities, and especially mine have upside - downs all yar long. one week i might have no work or classes at all and do as much work as i possibly can, and one week i might be so stressed and overloaded that i might do nothing. it's not a matter of motivation for me, i love this thing, its just a matter of free tme and experience. i'm still learning. even though i can do grafics and write down a storyline quite right, for example, it takes me ages to map it out and event it. i have a whole project on my mind an a graet deal of thing planned, but i;m simply stuck because of that:(
Decadenttia 2 Report post Posted November 21, 2010 I work all day and only have free time few hours at night. My work hours are usually the same but my level of tiredness depens on season. November-December-January, for example is one of our hardest work seasons so although I'd like to make project progress , I can only think about supper and sleep when I arrive at home. Few weekends ago, while I was enjoying my summer holidays (yeeees! summer holidays at autumn season. I know it sounds weird but this is how it works for me :sweatdrop: )I was working on maker every day so I'm pretty happy about the last progress. (On Sundays I dont' have to go work but this will change starting december.. I really hate Christmas time..) So I never really know when I'll could do more maker-job I really enjoy it when it happens.

rgangsta 43 Report post Posted November 21, 2010 (edited) 2 hours tops. Once I spent a week working on TH. But for some reason, I don't stay very committed to my games if it's just me working on it alone. Edited November 21, 2010 by rgangsta
Kazten 0 Report post Posted November 22, 2010 It depends on the time, a while ago i really got in to one project when i didn't have internet or tv. Back then it was about 35+ hours a week, but now its about 30 minutes a day? I'm mostly getting my self set up before i go charging in again, because that project i was working on a long time a ago, i got stuck and now i forgot were i was. madanchi 18 Report post Posted November 30, 2010 I work on it whenever I feel like it and have time, it may only be 10 minutes to an hour or even more some days - it all depends on lifestyle such as job, social life, college, gaming, drinking etc
Crym 10 Report post Posted December 9, 2010 The last game I worked on (which sadly did not get finished as it seems the friends I was working on it with deleted all copies of it when they gave up), I was probably spending 50+ hours a week on it. Though at the time I was working at home and didn't stay busy so I had a lot of free time on my hands. I'm hoping I can spend about that much time on the new project after I get the story finished, I don't think I'll work with anyone on this one much (or I'll keep a updated copy stashed away in a lock box locked inside a safe that's been put in a cardboard box and crammed between the mattresses).
