[Resolved]Shadowy Tileset

Recommended Posts

I need like a plain black autotile that allows me to make a plain black shadow over something and have some patches of light over some areas. Like a dark cave with some spots of light. I'm too lazy to google it.

would you use a "fog"

or is an autotile the only option?

I can make an autotile, but a fog should be easy to find

do you want the shadows to be black or semi transparent?

actually...

I'll do both

edit: actually, that's something you can do on your end when you import it.

Interesting, I think I know what you need it for, not sure though. Pitch black caves that will have lanterns or such? I would make one but, seems as though someone has already started one.

For some reason I want to play FlyFF now. Grr, no time for that.

Would be a good template for autotiles.

I just figured something out, what you want, is very hard to do because of the way the tilesets are set up.

there have to be three objects, the outline of the auto tile, the inside of the auto tile, and the transparent color. the autotile I've been making has only two of those. I'l have to make it a little differently. when I'm done, just make gray semi-transparent.

actually, I lied I was just doing wrong. :sweatdrop:

i still need practice with this.

this one will work.

it's pretty much the opposite of the other one, just fill in the outer part with black tiles
