Need help with a bug...

Question

Well, I'm making a Pokémon game, and so far, there are no bugs. Except from one that is really annoying.

When I was uploading a demo, I needed to compress the game data,

I did everything right:

yup.PNG

But, after it's compressed, I try running the exe, but after the audio is extracted, all I get is:

yup2.PNG

(Oh, the game is based on the Pokémon Essentials pack by Peter O., and no custom scripts are used)

Your suppose to wait 72 Hours before bumping dry.gif

I'm just impatient

How big is the game?

The game folder(with the useless debug files) is 327 MB, and without the debug files, it is 134 MB.

... did you have a location for output file?

other than that, you should try to see if you can archive it with winRar. other than that try to reinstall rmxp.

if that still doesnt work, then check to see if all your scripts are done properly.

if that doesnt work, see if you can compress another game project. -- if you can, then try to move things over from your project to a fresh one. if you get the same problem - then you have something wrong with your scripts.

There is simple solution to this problem, I had the same issue. I found a tool that can encrypt rmxp/rmvx projects over 100mb. All you have to do is put it in your game folder, run it and copy and paste the .rgssad file into the client's folder and make a nice little installer so people can play.

Would you like me to upload it here?
