frsgalaxy 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2011 Hi there to all who want to help and to those who are just taking a peek at my new topic :) I want to create a Website for my Development Team, FRS Galaxy. I know a small amount of HTML myself but not enough to make anything decent. I was looking to get some help with both HTML and CSS, Either advice on what and how to do it or somebody to help me make it with me :) If you believe you can help then please PM me or post here in this topic :) Kind Regards Daniel Knight Founder of FRS Galaxy

Marked 197 Report post Posted February 26, 2011 If you need help with something specific, I'm sure we'll be able to help you out. In terms of learning to write html websites, then you can use tutorials, but they only go far. I only use tutorials as reference. What I'd recommend you do is build your website and learn HTML as you can, as opposed to learn HTML and THEN attempt the website. If that makes sense. Alternatively I'd recommend a nice simple CMS in which case you don't necessarily have to learn HTML, CSS or PHP, but still have the opportunity to when you want to extend it. For example, you could use Joomla, which is what we use for our website. The project card in your signature was made from writing a component within joomla. Marked 197 Report post Posted February 26, 2011 Haha. Ok awesome. I've been using joomla for 3 years now, so I'm sure I can help you out. Joomla1.6 is real new though, but I've had a look at it and it seems very similar. Especially in terms of the UI.

Marked 197 Report post Posted February 26, 2011 Never used cloudaccess, your best bet is to contact them. For the looks of it though it should have joomla pre-installed, but who knows.

Marked 197 Report post Posted February 27, 2011 Sure I'll help you but im not entirely sure what you want me to do. I can setup a joomla site for you, though I'll need to access a hosting account or FTP or something. I am also quite familiar with invisionfree.
