Greetings! Name: Everon, philosophic designer

Recommended Posts

Greetings, and thank you for having me in your group!

I have stumbled across the site by searching for RPG-Maker circles in which to find creative artists and passionate gamers who like to exchange ideas and knowledge about videogames and of course projects.

About Me:

My name is Dominik, alias Everon, male, age 23 (1988), residence of birth: Switzerland, Europe.

Since my childhood I've always been more passionate about videogames (and philosophy) than anything else and also kept designing concepts and working on ideas for an own VG (with and without friends).

Major influences have been (chronologically):

- Super Mario Land (GB)

- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64)

- Magic: The Gathering (TCG)

- Rurouni Kenshin (manga)

- Golden Sun (GBA)

- Final Fantasy X (PS2)

- Fire Emblem 7 (GBA)

- Inuyasha (manga/anime)

- RPG-Maker (software)

- Tales of Symphonia (NGC)

- Touhou Project (PC)

- Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (the anime adaption)

- Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (PS1)

- Richard T. (a friend; artist and VG analyst)

- Welcome to the N.H.K.! (anime)

- Ookami (PS2)

- RGSS3 (programming language based on Ruby)

Current Occupation:

I'm a student and 95% of my life occurs in my free time, where I philosophize, educate myself, discuss, analyze, brainstorm over concepts, play VGs, write (a lot) and keep contact with my friends and connaissances.

Current Projects:

- I tend to a close (but expanding) circle of VG passionate people with whom I form a little "VG Philosophy Circle".

- At the moment (August 2012) I have begun on designing and working on a small 2D RMVXAce game codenamed "Project Moonflower"; tactical RPG-adventure with strong emphasis on Japanese culture.

Contact:

I'm looking to engage in discussions in which I can exchange ideas, knowledge and experiences related to VGs, as well as finding people interested in collaborating or simply presenting me their own works and concepts, which I'd gladly take a look at myself.

I can always be reached over e-mail at: everon@live.de

Thank you for having me, and I'm looking forward to seeing what experiences I can gain in this group! (^_^)

- Everon
