characters change help!

Is there any way to switch between playable characters, as in moving to another world and change the playable character to another? i'm not using party system and party-switching scripts confuse me :( help me, anyone?

Depending on how your party is set up and such, you could use the Change Party Member event. I'm not TOO used to using it, as I don't really use it for what you need, but you could easily use it for what you want.

 

 

First tab, it's about nine down in the second column. It's pretty simple to use. You'll have to remove your current one and add your next, but you'll want to untick initialize, as it resets the character to what you have in the database. Now, as I said, I'm not too familiar with this event, but I assume that means it'll wipe levels and such, whereas, if you leave it unticked, it'll retain all this information.

Depends on what you call "playable characters". If you mean like changing the character that appears on the map, it simply needs to be the first in the party, which you can achieve by removing all others from the party, then adding them again.
