This post is to check people's interest in a Magic the Gathering fan-fiction.  This post will serve two purposes.  The first is to provide a sort of "Table of Contents," the second is to see if people are interested in a fan-fiction of the well known Multiverse that is Magic the Gathering.

The Planeswalkers.

If you go to the main Magic the Gathering site, theres a series of comics that show the story of most of the planeswalkers I will be using in this Fan Fiction.

I remember back in the day I had a full series of the comic. I can't remember much now, but It was about the Red vs Blue colored heroes. And I do remember a bit about the Slivers and how they came about as well as some stuff about Urza.

I read the first few books. I think the artwork is amazing, but i find the story is very basic and the writing is even simpler. I find when people make a comic or write a story about a universe based on a game (card game or otherwise) the transition isn't very well thought out. Use of magic for instance is often mistranslated (especially for a medium like a card game).

How do you plan to get past those problems?

And I hope you can write dialog better than in the comic lol

In the worlds of magic, They dont have just a UNIverse.  they have a MULTIverse.  Rules change when one switches from Universe to Multiverse.  I am going to play on the fact that its a Multiverse, not a Universe.

The Multiverse is actually rather well thought out.

mana_r.pngThe Lady with Fiery Hairmana_r.png

The earth rolls underneath her feet.  Her blazing hair flowing between two rocks which threaten to crush her.  Her goal is in sight.  A large red obelisk, a massive core of fiery Mana.  Her red eyes gleaming for joy.

She pulls herself up from the ravine she enters.  At that moment, the ravine closes.  The earth below her had rolled. She could feel the room rumble from the crushing rocks which she escaped.  "That wasn't too bad...."  She says to herself as she walks towards the glowing red obelisk.

Not too bad indeed.  This planet lies within one of the most dangerous planes in the Multiverse known as Zendikar.  The very planet itself attacks its creatures and anyone who steps foot within relentlessly.  Where this woman is, she is well aware of the danger, but arrived for a reason that is different than what most would arrive for.
She seeks a stone.  This stone pulses with the power of fire.  It is said to be one of the most powerful artifacts within the Multiverse, yet none know about it.  That is until the method of sealing the Eldrazzi was discovered by another planeswalker who had paid for its discovery with his life.

As she walks into the opening within the obelisk, she spots a series of drawings.  Perhaps the only sign of civilization on this planet.  This woman, Chandra, examines the various art depicting a war of old times, back when this planet didn't fight its population.

"What...?" She asks.  Zendikar was known as the planet with no sign of proper civilization.  Looks like it had one before the planet destroyed it.  As she looked over the ancient symbols, she committed them to memory.  She walked to the final chamber.  She knew the planet would rumble again, and she didn't have that much time.

The final room contained a triangle like stone set in the center of a circular room.  The markings on it depicted signs of war, and of fire.  The stone itself was red in color, much like the obelisk in which  Chandra entered.  She walked in and grabbed the stone, then activated her planewalking powers and escaped... or did she....?
