  2. Alright, here's a quick update a new piece of artwork has been completed by our new concept artist, Ritvon, tell us what you think of it!
  3. The people behind it too. This is a game made by fans for fans, the fans giving the fans what we'd want in an FF game. To answer the previous question, no I'm not using SBS Taknekai anymore, due to the fact that it's not very versatile in comparison with Atoa's own battle system the ACBS (Atoa Custom Battle System). This is especially useful as Atoa is actually Final Fantasy: Zero's Team Scripter so he knows how the system works perfectly, he was the one who coded the Tactical Formation System too based on my designs. We have a video coming soon.
  4. Well with things progressing at the speed they are you might not have to wait long for a demo, at least a technical demo. I'm not going to set a date like I did with the trailer last time, I ended up letting everyone down so it's just going to be ready when it's ready. Either way the best place to get updates is the facebook page. LINK HERE The Tactical Formation System is nearly complete so I'll be able to show a video soon enough and with that done we're inches closer to the final version of the battle system, something I consider to be a really great about this game and the most important thing to get done before any tech demos are released.
  5. Thanks for all the positive feedback you've given. I was wondering if someone would bring up the cursor issue, actually that's just a placeholder, I do have a more modern cursor, taken directly from FFVIII but also I intend to rip the FFXIII cursor and test that one out. The reason that cursor is being shown is because those screenshots were taken by my wizard of a script programmer who just quickly threw that part together so I'd have something to show to the facebook page.
  6. Man, it HAS been a while hasn't it people. A lot's changed in the game since I last posted here. I've mostly been showing updates for the game via our facebook fan-page. Some screenshots from a new system for the game, the "TACTICAL FORMATION SYSTEM", a system whereby preset formations, which can be switched up in battle, allow for the party to gain attack and defence bonuses based on where the party is.   9. Do you mean the recent picture of Langara or the other ones? Because they're all XP graphics 32x32. The colour scheme is meant to give off a Roman-Greek classical period of Arcitecture for the city.

I consider this matter closed, if you have any constructive criticism I'll hear it, meanwhile, you can chose to ignore this project but you can choose to follow it else wise. Your response is quite frankly idiotic Midnight, I don't care for your support and you saying you're not going to support me is just about the stupidest thing you can say to make me give a damn. I don't know who you are, I don't care who you are and quite frankly if you're going to "shit all over" me, then you're going to have to actually do something other than troll and flame. I will not stand for that sir and it's quite disgusting that you feel it appropriate to do so. If you had the slightest bit of common manners you wouldn't have even posted here, it is people like you that are turning the RM community into quite frankly a shit-heap. I'm aware I have my critics and I don't think I'm God's gift to RPG Maker, yet you feel the need to actually tell me that, for what reason, what purpose does it serve other than to inflate your fragile little ego because you cannot get a thrill otherwise. If you were going to give some constructive criticism that would be different and I would accept it and listen even if I didn't like to hear it. You are just trolling. That is all I will say on this matter and I consider it closed. Get a life. Peace out.
  12. Okay I've made a few changed based on suggestions made this is the updated version, it's easier on the eyes but I think it makes this grand Classical city of white stone and marble look kinda grimy. Perhaps that's just me.
  13. Thanks Shaggy! Nice to hear. Right people I need opinions, I've been experimenting with a frankensprited Greco-Roman Classical Architecture tileset I've created using various resources. I need people to tell me what they think, it's WIP so just comment on the tiles and how they mesh together not the screen shot itself.
  14. Yeah these ones are Inquisitors tilesets. I've been adapting my game to his style for exteriors. I'm hoping to try and keep the graphical quality of the RTP without it looking as bland and "same-old stuff" as the RTP.
  15. What doesn't make sense? All the continents are interlocking, there's snow at the north pole, desert and/or dry land around the equator? Seriously, I've never heard complain about the geography of the world map. What doesn't make sense to you?
