Should I start working on a Christmas game for 2014?

I'm glad there is a strategy to it. Nice catch with both of those. They are both fixed. I really appreciate your help. Just wait, the second area in the game will be full of them, I'm sure.

I see your point about William and KJ, I'll fix that. I'll do my best to deal with the script authors, but I know a lot of scriptwriters have moved on. Okay, so it sounds like you're grinding because you avoided most of the battles. That actually helps, thanks. Stay with it though, you're just starting to get to the story part of the game. Also, did you check out the city and all that?

I've never used VX or VX Ace. XP is what I started with and I don't want to spend money on another program that basically does the same thing. Also, I know RMXP, so there would be a slight learning curve with a new program. Also, I don't like the chibi characters.

I am making a game for my neices and nephews and am about 50%-60% done with it. I was hoping some people would be willing to play test it for me. It is being made with RPG Maker XP. The game itself is an action based game with a simple storyline. It is a sequel to my previous game, Holly's Quest, which now seems lost forever. The game is called Christopher's Quest and features a crafting system and a mortality system. It uses the Sideview Battle System Version 2.1xp by Atoa and Enu. Now, I must warn you, I am LDS (aka Mormon) and there is some LDS themed things. It is not heavy handed, but it is present. If this offends you, please do not play this game. Thank you. Also, this game is for my neices and nephews and there are some in game jokes that you may not understand, because they're family specific. So, is anyone willing to paytest it for me and find any bugs I may have missed? Christopher's Quest Edit: I use pieces of meat in the beginning of the game to teleport around and test areas. Please ignore them, if I fail to delete them.

I know how to move the box, it was this part, "use an event to track the position of the box. for the box have it set to interact with the player when touched. when the box reaches a certian x and y the event will trigger a switch." I was having trouble with. Thanks.

I'm trying to make a puzzle, where you have to keep a button pressed to open a door. However, when you move off of the button, the door closes. I can't think of how I would do this. Also, for the second part of the puzzle, I would like the player to push a box onto the button to keep it pressed, so the door will stay open. I can't figure out how to do this either, as events do not interact. Any help would be welcome. Edit: I figured out the first part. It was easy, I was just having a duh moment. However, the second part is still eluding me. How to make two events seem to interact, when they actually aren't.

I downloaded it. It works. It looks interesting, but to be honest, I'm horrible at puzzle type games.

We haver more than a little right to be mad. Not only was Obama against the Patriot Act, before he was for it, he campaigned on getting rid of it! Also, yes, he should be impeached for multiple crime, not just this one. Also, yes, many Presidents should be impeached for breaking the law. Being President should not grant extra rights. It's time to hold government officials responsible for their actions.

It comes down to trust. Do I trust my government to have detailed records of my phone calls and e-mails? The answer is no. It's not about terrorism, or child porn, it's about control. They're getting all the information about us that they can in order to use it to control us.

The LAPD is one of the worst police departments in the US. Why don't they test these kits? Because they just don't care.

While I agree that the US government should not be killing civilians, it is worse, in a way, because our Constitution specifically states that citizens have the right to a trial by due process of law. This boy was denied that right and murdered. I also agree that the US government, my government, is full of hypocrites and warmongers. As much as people like to blame corruption and lobbyists, which are a problem, the citizens of this country just don't care. Most US citizens care about reality TV more than they care about government corruption and murder.

I've been using this script for awhile and I think it's great. Most of the issues I find I can work out on my own, but right now I'm a bit stuck. I set up the 2 Man Tech Attack and it worked great. I added the Example Skills and now it doesn't seem to be working correctly, but the thing is, I can't figure out why. The problem is that the characters are not fighting together.
